The staff where brilliant,for such a young team, very helpful, would recommend the hotel to anyone, it's in the middle of town and tip top.

We could not unload the minibus at the hotel and had to walk several time to unload the minibus. Maybe an idea, to have a wagon/trolly were you can put the baggage on??? food for thougth !!!"

Fantastic location and very kind and warm welcoming staff. The rooms are clean and feel spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The interior is playful and cosy. It’s a great concept and suitable for different occasions. During my (too) short stay, this is exactly what I saw. A variety of guests: individuals and couples, friends and/ or families and also guests traveling for work from many different corners of the world. It was a great surprise to receive ‘a goodie bag’ after checking out. Absolutely loved this! Because nobody expects this and it was full of nice surprises ;)

The staff were extremely friendly, capable, welcoming and efficient. The breakfast had a wide range of quality food types. The downstairs area, known as Base Camp, is a social, practical and comfortable dining area, bar, lounge, small meeting and great personal work area. The rooms were comfortable, tasteful and offered good amenity.

The bar had very limited offering of wine. Such a great venue is Base Camp and it is under utilised, due to a poor wine menu. Wine and cheese at 4pm would be a great start to the evening. Even a separate GF fryer would offer GF and Vegan hot chips, to add to a cocktail hour vibe. During the morning, a small selection of fruit platters, macarons and pastries, (with a selection of GF and Vegan offerings) would enhance the offering.

The hotel is beautiful and very central in the city. The staff were very welcoming when I arrived and even offered a warm towel to wash my hands with. The lobby area is a comfortable place to take a work call from or sit and have a drink.

You can get to the hotel from two different sides 'tunnels.' From one side, people seemed to have gathered there after dark, which was a bit uncomfortable as a single woman, but was totally fine in the end. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and none of the staff even mentioned it in the morning.

We liked that it was cozy by the bed but spacious enough to open two suitcases by the entrance. The water pressure was amazing and always hot. The bed and pillows were so comfortable - plus easy access to light switches by bed. There were hooks and plenty of hangers for clothes and towels. There was ample storage and shelf space. Breakfast was outstanding - you can get made to order eggs (it's not super clear but you just need to ask). Staff were lovely and accommodating.

Minor things: The separate hot and cold taps - could be temperamental / get too hot at first. As others have said, the bathroom mirror is a little dark.

I chose The Collector Hotel in The Hague for my birthday during a trip, as I appreciate aesthetics, design, and a thoughtful, conceptual approach to hospitality — not pop or mass-market. Everything exceeded my expectations: beautiful interiors, a calm and stylish atmosphere, and an excellent location — quiet, yet right in the heart of the historic center. Breakfasts were delicious, the staff attentive and genuinely welcoming, and as a lovely touch, I even received some small treats to take away at check-out. The room was very comfortable, with everything I needed. A truly special stay!

The location excellent, the courtyard 👍🏼 The team at the reception so much nice and Mr Martin and Ms Barbra were exceptional in their generous assistance, politeness and readiness to make our stay comfortable The shower 👍🏼and my room in the corner cosy with many windows yet no noise from outside We were allowed to keep our luggage in storage few hours after check out at 11am 👍🏼

The access to the hotel with 5 family luggage bit difficult as cars not allowed close but the team was wonderful and helped bring the suitcases in.. The breakfast could be way much better

Large, comfortable room with great shower. Delightful staff. From reservations to checkout, communication was wonderful. They even send info through Whatsapp so you are well informed before you arrive. They even surprised me with a bag of snacks to take when I checked out.

This isn't a dislike, but something people should know. You or your driver can't drive up to the hotel door, so you are let out (and picked up by taxi) a couple minutes walk. It's not as bad as it sounds, but this was the only thing I wasn't aware of. If someone has mobility issues, it's something to consider, but I would 100% stay here again.

Everything was spot on. The hotel staff were very friendly and polite. Upon learning it was my birthday, Maarten and Ghita surprised me with a birthday card and some cookie, it was such a thoughtful gesture. The property was exceptionally clean, and every detail, big and small, made my interior design-loving heart very happy. The place was full of inspiration, and the attention to detail was truly impressive. And not to forget, the breakfast was amazing, and the chef was just as wonderful. ☺️

There was nothing to dislike, really.

Everything. The staff was so friendly and helpful, a delight from the receptionists to the breakfast cooks. The breakfast was delicious and just lovingly presented. The hotel and rooms themselves are like hidden treasure chests. You can find interesting and lovely details in every corner. It is really awesome.

There was only one disadvantage: If people on the street were very loud, you could hear them very clear. Fortunately the street is usually quiet, but when we stayed there, there was an opening party in the shop vis-á-vis.
