Room was in a vintage style with large and comfortable bed. Thick bathrobes and towels. Breakfast a bit odd as I needed to decide the day before when I was having it as eggs/bacon are made to this order. Huge bread selection but very basic toppings. Overall a very nice stay as all the staff are wonderful and everything clean and cozy. Hotel is very close to a lovely clean beach with many options for restaurants and activities.

Prepare for stairs! As this is an old building the classic Dutch stair situation (very steep and long) is in play. Staff very helpful with carrying luggage.

Pool area is lovely and we were spoilt to be the only ones using it! Our room was nice and we had a balcony. Dinner was absolutely delicious! It certainly lived up to all the good things I’d heard about it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We hope to visit again in the future.

Water pressure in the shower was terrible and the bathroom could do with a refurb but we did enjoy the jacuzzi bath. Pool was cold but can’t be helped if it’s not heated. Still worth a dip 😄

The room is excellent and spacious, I also really appreciate the complementary water and coffee. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great and very close to the beach. I'm sorry the restaurant was closed when I stayed here, the menu sounded fantastic! Maybe next time.

If I really had to name some things that could be improved then I would say the floor of my room was a bit uneven and the water pressure in the shower could be better.

Room was lovely, big bed , balcony. Breakfast very good, we had half board but we were unaware it was a fish restaurant, probably our fault but didn’t read this in the description at the time of booking. I am not a massive fan of eating fish so it was not for me, what I did have was cooked perfectly though and they were busy all the time, obviously people travel for their food here. We went in February and I would imagine it’s lovely in the warmer months, nice looking pool and seating area, right on the beach with nice walks. Ideally situated for our needs attending Rory Gallagher tribute festival , 5 minute walk away.

Unaware of it being a fish restaurant, our fault, and with half board there was only one choice for our evening meal, no menu to pick from.

Attentive and helpful staff. Due to a late arrival they agreed to wait for me until 11pm at night and the staff were very friendly and polite. The windows in the room faced the courtyard where it was very green. Beautiful design of the common area on the first floor, bar and restaurant see photos. Close to all the attractions of the place and a short walk to the beach. Atmospheric wood staircase, beautiful design thought out to the details. Clean cozy room. Breakfast with fresh fruit juice, fresh pastries coffee and main course optional. Very happy with my choice and would love to stay with them again.

A lovely hotel in a prime location near the beaches. We had a clean, well-maintained room, and were perfectly happy with our choice - as we just wanted a night by the sideside. We were on the upper floors, so be prepared for some suitcase-schlepping up staircases, but nothing we couldn't manage.

Staff was pleasant and helpful Clean room. I did like the idea of no children.

Could not use the balcony due to scaffolding. It was a small room and no good place to put luggage. No sitting area in the hotel to just relax. Hotel was very empty and our room was up two sets of stairs

great staff, location and restaurant. there is some parking. large private terrace, but needs some shades

very steep and narrow stairs. a little bit outdated amenities (though it could be a part of "old place" concept). comparing to the dinner, the breakfast looked really modest.

The hotel is in a lovely spot. We received a very warm welcome and were able to store our bikes safely overnight. Our room was very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities and a bath! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast.

Only thing that I can say negative ia that the rooms are a bit old, but on the other hand its also the style of the house and really a minor detail.
