Breakfast was good, the staff was nice and we got a corner room, so we got our privacy and peace. TV is big, so if you stay in, you haamve a smart tv you can stream on. Room was big, comfortable and nice.

There is not much to dislike. It is not the youngest setup, but does the job. Location is a bit off, as you need to drive with public transport for about an hour from the airport to get to the city center - so good thing there is a free shuttle service. On the other hand, there were not too many people around, so privacy guaranteed.

It’s 15 minutes from the airport and if you have a front facing room you can watch planes take off or hang around outside on the benches. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was really good. The tv in the room was pretty great too with built in chrome cast so you can cast from your devices. Also there’s a McDonald’s right next door so if you don’t fancy the hotel restaurant you can pop over there. There is a free shuttle but check the times, uber is available if you have an super early morning flight

I don’t know if this is all rooms but at the end of the bed where your pillows go there is a plug socket and light switches which is somewhat odd placement and you risk flicking lights on/off while laying down or sleeping. One of the benches outside was broken but still somewhat usable. The network for our room to did stop working at one point and I had to unplug/plug it back in to make it work again

Everything. Overnight stay , very quiet location on perimeter of airport. We had flight into Amsterdam Schiphol. Shuttle bus free straight to hotel every 30 mins. Pick up directly outside arrivals. Staff really friendly. Rooms stylish , modern , super clean . Comfy beds so great night sleep Great breakfast. Shuttle bus (free) back to airport in the morning , train in airport to Amsterdam. Looked like you may have been able to get packed lunch at hotel if you were sight seeing in Amsterdam so could easily use hotel to do this even though some distance out of city.

It was tulip season and Amsterdam hotel prices were not cheap! The free airport shuttle and 6 euro train price made it practical to commute back and forth into the city. The shuttle was always punctual and ran until midnight. Amsterdam has one of the best public transportation systems I’ve seen anywhere.

I wasn’t crazy about the fact that the bathroom had no vent and the door was installed to close automatically so you couldn’t leave it ajar. I’m older and I hate complicated tv remotes. I got so frustrated with it one night when I couldn’t even get a single program to play.

I missed a flight and I needed a place to stay. The shuttle service was the main factor for chosing the hotel. I wasn't expecting much of the hotel, but it was so nice to see that the bed was really good, the room was good, the shower was good and the the breakfast was good. This was so comforting after such a tough journey. Airport hotels can quickly get impersonal and bland, I am so glad that Bastion actually cares about the guest. Can highly recommend.

Gary the Hotel manager is amazing, he is so kind an genuinely cares about his guests, makes you feel right at home. The rest of the staff was lovely too and that makes all the difference. I had quite a lot of issues with my stay since I booked the wrong dates but throughout every single person from Bastion I spoke with was super kind and in the end they helped me move the dates.

The food at the restaurant was overpriced and not great but their kitchen is open until 22:00, so that's a plus

It was close to the airport for next day flight, free shuttle pickup, convenient & fast.

Room was clean, but shower needs more scrubbing. Front desk person was rude upon checkout. Demanding us with a raise voice like she has a big problem, to wait in front of her for the room to be checked when we were not going anywhere because we were waiting for the shuttle pickup. She needs more training for customer relations.

Lift

Free service shuttle to and from the airport. Affordable short stay if you're going to see Keukenhof right in the morning. There is a luggage storage as well. There is a coffee machine. And got a big TV to connect your Netflix/other accounts vis Chromem cast.

The coffee machine produce too much noise. The location is far from other food/grocer shop (there's a Mcdonalds right outside but that's it).

Shuttle bus services were really useful as it helped us to go to various destinations easily without any hasstle. The room cleanliness was very well maintained and really satisfied The front desk people were very helpful

it was perfect. as a individual i would recommend to lower the prices of hotel as i felt it was bit expensive or atleast give a reduction if booked for multiple days. i stayed here for 5 nights but i could not get any benefit on pricing
