The family room has an upstairs area with a double bed which was quirky and unlike many Hotels there was loads of storage for clothes and luggage. We were rear facing so nice and quiet. Front facing looks onto the main Square which might be a bit noisy on busy nights. Breakfast was excellent (not buffet, a la carte only). 10-15 mins walk from the Train Station which was doable pulling a suitcase. Clean, modern interior decor.

No gym if that is something you are looking for and the front desk is largely unstaffed. You press a buzzer to get someone and it did seem like you were inconveniencing them! Unfortunately this seems to be the way of the world. Steep staircase from ground floor so be careful if not taking the Lift.

Great restaurant options nearby. Bus to Zandaam station a 2 minute walk. Clean and comfortable hotel.

Bathroom arrangement in twin room was very strange with the shower on one side of the room (in a closet) and the toilet on another side of room. Toilet doesn’t have a basin to wash hands. You need to go back to the other side of the room to wash your hands. Staff member we spoke to at night was unable to help with booking a taxi the following morning. They weren’t sure of transport options so unable to assist us with transport to train station at 6am in the morning. We felt unsafe to walk through the area at the time of day with noone else around. A bit too far away from train station. Much further than expected.

The room was great for family, and our girls loved their upstairs room. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was provided, towels, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. This hotel is located near restaurants and shops, which was very convenient. The downstairs restaurant, Mail Company, was lovely, and we all had breakfast in there. Felt so christmassy with their surrounding lights. It was easy to get to Zaanse Schans by hopping on the nearby train station.

The pillows provided were too soft. It would have been nice to have firmer ones for extra support. That's the only cons we have about this hotel.

Extremely comfy bed, and although the hotel is at a busy square the room itself was totally quiet. I slept so well that if I ever need to catch up on sleep I might just book this same room again. The room was very clean and tidy, with a kettle and even a tiny fridge for drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was a tiny moldy patch on the ceiling, near the curtain rod. Since the ceiling seemed nearLy five metres high I didn't mind that.

Location is about a 10 minute walk from the station which can take you to Amsterdam central in less than 15 minutes. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and large, made it difficult to get out of bed in the morning :) Hotel is wonderfully decorated, especially the rooms with pretty lighting. Staff were also very kind and open to questions and very helpful if anything was needed.

Only downside was the breakfast, it was one platter for 4 people which we felt wasn’t enough :(

Great layout for a family that is a rare find with some hotels. There was a ton of storage space in the room so things didn't feel thrown about and disorganized for a long stay. The bathroom being divided into a toilet and shower room with a sink in the main room was nice for everyone to have privacy and use simultaneously.

Bring your own shampoo, only conditioner and body wash provided. One morning during our stay the water was turned off for maintenance without notice, luckily we had all finished showers and getting ready but that would have been really unfortunate. Assuming it was an emergency fix, but some communication would have been appreciated.

Probably was great it’s very noisy in the evening outside but when you get into your room, it’s very quiet triple lie Windows which is great staff was good. Breakfast was great.

I’ve got no complaints. I’ll be back.

Family room - big and convenient with 2 big double beds. Breakfast a la carte menu - you can choose 2 drinks and 1 portion - pancakes, healthy breakfast, different eggs, english style and also. We got the discount for kids at the reception. It was a big parking place about 300m from the hotel and quite inexpensive.

A little bit strange the fact that the room was very small and dark but I think this is something usual in Netherlands. We were 4 persons for 4 nights but we only had 2 toilet papers, just an example. The cleaning only came to take the garbage and make the bed. I did not really enjoy the breakfast, less food and a lot of bread.
