Staff was extremely helpful. I got sick in the middle of the night, and the guy in the reception helped me with medical assistance (a complicated issue in the country) and asked me about my health the following days. They also made extra efforts to recover my esteemed neckless, which had gone through the basin tub, which I thanked a lot I was cold and got the requested extra blanket for my bed instantly. Very good service. Breakfast service in the room was superb, with a wide choice. Free locked garage for the bike. Very well located in the city, and close to natural spots. No noise in the nights. Comfy bed and pillows.

Fantastic room, a real treat for us as not our usual type of traveling accommodation. Complimentary tea/coffee & kettle meant we could enjoy the morning views on the balcony with a wake up coffee! Huge bed & so comfortable with plenty of space to move around. Amazing views & very little noise from the street outside, plus close to public transport. They plant a tree or two if you skip room service - that's a small but important consideration that made us happy. Professional & friendly staff, helpful & kind. Thank you for treating us so well!

Guests get discounted movies in the attached theatre/cinema! Got to see the latest Mission Impossible before it would have released at home for just 10 euros! Room was advertised "with view" and it was a great view of the local plaza. Room had charm with some movie posters and nice furniture, and the hallways look like something from 1920s hollywood. Beds were clean and comfortable, to the point I can't even recall when I fell asleep. Breakfast was a buffet style with good quality+quantity for the price. Had an absolutely great time for just a single night and I will be returning if I ever need a hotel near Utrecht/Zeist. Booked last minute, so can't quite comment on the price, which wasn't too high regardless. Either way, well worth the money!

Bathroom shower had some inconsistent water temperature. Not major, and easy to compensate by occasionally turning the heat up or down. Also as others noted, no fridge, but a space for one. Was a bit bizarre.

Easy going staff from the beginning to the end, great ! A very nice hotel, a spacious clean room, so were the beds too. The WiFi connexion was good. The breakfast buffet is really nice with a good range of fine products. One evening we had diner at the Grand Cafe, meals were ok, the service has to be improved but many young apprentices have still to learn, and they were friendly. It was a very good experience, keep on going.

The only problem was about TV channels, some were missing, some with pixels not following the images, but this is quite common in all hotels so far.

I had a great experience — the staff were very friendly, polite, and welcoming. It felt like a genuinely cheerful and positive team. A special thank you to Yvonne, who went above and beyond to find my earplugs after they fell into the lift shaft — truly a miracle! There was also a receptionist with glasses and brown hair who was very friendly and kind — a pleasure to speak with. Breakfast was excellent — I really loved it! Overall, everyone was very professional and helpful. Highly appreciated!

the gym

The room was comfortable, the staff were nice, the breakfast was really decent, and there’s a lot of flexibility about breakfast time and arrangements regarding breakfast. There was a kettle and a coffee machine in the room. Utrecht old town is just 20 minutes away if you take the bus. There’s a cinema in the same building, and I think guests even get a discount on entrance.

There was no refrigerator in the room, and the toiletries supplied were very basic. But nothing one could not survive. I’m not sure this is really a problem, but note that the rooms are spacious, so they don’t get very warm even with heating turned on maximum (mine heated up to max 20-21 degrees).

Great location

Very noisy at night. Bar around the corner, patio below and centre of town location all contributed. The hotel promises smoke-free inside and out but this was not the case. Could not sit on the outside patio in the afternoon and evening because of the amount of smoke from other customers. Very disappointing in this day and age. Staff were only ok. Could have been more friendly and helpful.

I chose this hotel because it was very near to the hospital. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The deco is very unusual but I liked it. I am specially grateful to Enzo, I think this is his name, the italian guy at the restaurant, who was very thoughtful and attentive, and arranged a very special breakfast tray for my daughter, who was unable to go down to the restaurant.

I chose a room with view and it was not particularly the view that you would've expected it wasn't bad but I was expecting a nice view to the city.

Reasonable hotel, clean and efficient and well located in central Zeist.

The only downside is the on-site restaurant which food is sub-par. I had an entrecote which was prepared in a cold pan, and was undercooked, with veggies that had been roasted, left to cool off and heated by a microwave. The waitress who served me reacted very unpleasantly to my feedback on the food, and the qualifier that it was “inedible”. I suspect that it was herself who had prepared the food instead of the cook who was absent from the premises. I refused to pay for the entrecôte and had food at the Hermitage restaurant across the street for the remainder of my stay.

This is a lovely hotel in a very good location. The room was big and comfortable with a lovely view. It was easy to get to with public transport. And I could go for a walk in one of the parks nearby. The shops are also close, and I could go the market on the Saturday. This is easy enough to get to Utrecht and other places while staying in a small town with lovely trees, history and beautifil surroundings. The restaurant downstairs was good, and I enjoyed being able to go to a movie without leaving the building.
