Fantastic rooms. Garden rooms looked over garden and pool very serene. Location was fantastic with plenty of parking and close walk to restaurants and some great beach walks close by.

The hotel pool was closed and there was no swimming allowed in the beaches around Noumea. Very expensive drinks and food. 1 beer & a G&T cost AUD$40

The only thing was that the pool was freezing, everyone was complaining about it, we still enjoyed the pool but no where as much as wet would have if it was warmer. because there’s no swimming allowed in the ocean it would make sense to have the pool warmer so everyone can spend more time in the water.

We had a fantastic time at Le Meridian. The staff was so friendly and kind, they went out of their limit to make us feel comfortable. The resort’s facilities are well maintained and have great views. The beach is nice, with clear water. Just a few steps from the hotel we ate delicious seafood at Le Roof. And when we wanted something different and less fancy we walked to Anse Vata, a small area full of restaurants and shops that opens 7 days a week. We were concerned about food before going there, a lot of reviews said that the resort’s restaurants were closed and so on. But that was not our case, we always had food and drinks available in and outside the resort. There was a night we wanted something different and special and the resort booked us a table at La Marmite et tire Bouchon, and it was delicious. Important, no matter the weather, do not miss the Tjibaou cultural centre. It’s just magnificent!

The Latitud 22 restaurant could have more food options.

The room was great - nice and big - with a lovely view. The breakfast was good and we loved the pool. Service was excellent.

Not much we didn't like. Breakfast was a bit expensive and it would be great if there was a barista.

Room was spacious and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to an ocean view room. Buffet breakfast included was more than ample, on a Sat/Sun morning and they have a larger selection than weekday. Creme brûlée and lemon meringue if that takes your fancy for breakfast! Pool (which is massive) was closed first day but took a dip in the ocean and the view from the lounges is beautiful. Don't think the walk to restaurants in Anse Vata is far but we hired a car so never did it. They had plenty on-site parking. Free pool towel and snorkel hire. There's no supermarket close to the resort.

Beautiful large rooms, comfortable bedding and great quality linen throughout. Gorgeous pool and restaurant on beach by pool (see photo of sunset from restaurant). Staff were lovely and helpful. Great location walking distance to many beautiful restaurants. Ok gym. Spa was good with ice bath and sauna for additional fee.

Buffet breakfast was not very good. The hotel appeared a little bit dated but was still beautiful.

All amenities were good - as expected from a major resort - easy access to the beaches and the local restaurants, shops and bars.

Room Service closed at 9pm - which meant no food when we arrived after a long day of international travel. The bar had no other food options - not even peanuts! They should provide a basic after hours Room Service - perhaps a vending machine. The nearby Casino has a full service restaurant - this should be made clear to weary travelers.

The hotel is gorgeous in a beautiful localisation, in front of the turquoise sea, the staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful ( big up to Alan & Jeremy), the pool is amazing and not too busy, breakfast buffet is good with lots of options. Our room was really clean, splendid view, bed really confortable, wifi incredible it even works when you are outside of the hotel until the pool the beach the restaurant around.

- there is no fridge, only a thing which look like a fridge but is isn’t one.. haha they told us that was to keep things fresher than outside but wasn’t a fridge so we couldn’t keep cold water - Unfortunately our phone wasn’t working, we asked them few times to fix it but never happened, so we were not able to call room service, but to be honest it’s a really small complain everything else was perfect.

Hotel it’s beautiful, pool and private beach as well. I loved the location.

It’s 5* hotel but room service it’s not 24/7, not even a mini bar. Member of the stuff behaved very inappropriate by offering me a massage at 3am (!) where we were only 2 people at the lobby, making me feel that I may be in danger, and trying to walk me to my room when I was keep saying that I can find my way by myself. The next day I asked to talk to the hotel manager. I had talked to the reception manager. Lady was just defending her staff member. I asked again to talk to hotel manager, what wasn’t possible. Reception manager was giving me a bad attitude, when I come with such a serious meter (!) I hope that it won’t happen to other solo female travellers.
