I like the space in the room, and also the heating part, friendly people and nice area that close to the shop and other venues. Not really expensive for one night but you can adjust your payment in the future, that would be fantastic. Beds are ok as well but little bit weak, it is not a big problem. Overall the place was very good to stay in whatever time that I can come back to Balclutha. Great service and friendly staff. Thanks very much for looking after us properly during our stay in your venue.

Not much, everything was all good except the bed, they are a little bit weak and soft.

Easy to find in a convenient location. Check in was easy and staff at reception very pleasant and helpful. Room was serviced daily and the heater was even turned on for me so it was lovely and warm when I got back later in the day. Everything was kept clean which I also really liked.

Some may find the fact it was quite near a night and day open 6am - 11pm with cars coming and going annoying - it didn't bother me as it wasn't that loud.

The owner was very welcoming, helpful and friendly...we were able to wash our clothes and dry them on the line... he recommended places to visit and ways to travel to our next destination. The unit was clean, tidy and well set up. We even had lollies left for us! Plenty of teabags and the bonus of a hob to cook on. It had a good range of cooking pots, pans etc, and utensils. The shower was great too! The TV had a wide range of channels and parking convenient just outside our door.

I was really impressed with the personal service extended by the owner/manager's. They went over & beyond in their care & service, even dragged out the air-compresser to pump my flat tyre up.

The bed was just abit too soft for me but the blanket & doona plus electric blanket kept me warm.

We had a comfortable room - spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was strong and hot. Our bed was comfy too. The area was quiet so we had a restful sleep after a long day. Big parking space outside our room. No fuss check-in and check-out. A short walk and you can have a great meal at "Hit The Spot".

The unit was warm when I arrived, the bed was the most comfortable I have experienced in a long, long time.and the kitchen was great. No hunting through cupboards to find the electric jug I will definitely stay there again.

Lovely comfortable accomodation. Had everything we needed. Great host. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. No charge for washing machine, powder also supplied. Nothing a bother to the host.

Cant tell you how much we loved our stay here. Owners were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Facilities were superb, we had stayed at some rather uncomfortable places on our trip and were in heaven! Balclutha does not really have a lot of sights to see but was well located at the end of our Catlins tour.

The hotel unit is clean, comfortable, and spacious.. it was great for an overnight stay. We were able to make a light tea and have breakfast which worked well for us. It is close to the main road and yet off enough to be very quiet.

Staff attending to us was very helpful and friendly. Truly appreciated that. Shower area and toilet had a wall separation. That was helpful.

Wish there was a heater in the bathroom. Weather was very cold during my stay. Mattress was a bit of soft to my liking.
