We booked the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom stables ( number 6) which had a king bedroom upstairs with ensuite shower and spa bath , & a downstairs king bedroom with ensuite shower. The semi detached house is just lovely , set in a private complex of houses looking over the Vineyards. The manager at reception was helpful regarding our stay & @ the area ; and explained where recycling place is onsite for when we checked out ( to dispose our recycling items we use ). The kitchen is very well equipped with coffee machine , dishwasher, large cupboard larder, lots cooking utensils , and a separate utility room with washing machine & tumble dryer. TV had access to Netflix ( if you are a member of Netflix & use it just remember to sign out on the tv !). Open-plan Kitchen / diner / lounge is very comfortable , with patio doors onto small lawn area with gas barbecue and outdoor seating & table . Great views across to Vineyard. We loved our stay , so relaxing. Location in the middle of all the famous Marlborough Vineyards , and 5 mins walk down road to the Wairu Vineyard Estate , " number 11 " restaurant and wine tasting. Food here was incredible and we paid for the wine tasting experience as extra - good value. Looking forward to coming back to Vintners Retreat next time we return to NZ.

Great location and accommodations in Marlborough wine country!

We specifically booked a one-level villa six months ago, but when we checked in we were assigned to a two-story unit. Manager offered to let us move to a one-level unit after one night, but since we were already settled we made do with the two level unit.

Great location in middle of vineyards with the accommodation having great views.Kitchen has great selection of utensils and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The cost is very high in comparison of other stays in similar accomodation in New Zealand and there were no goodie surprises as experienced elsewhere. Pepper and salt provided but nothing else- all other places provided milk, olive oil

Perfectly situated between the many excellent wineries in the area, the Vintners Retreat offers the option of easy cycling from cellar door to cellar door. The property itself was excellent. I particularly appreciated the powerful shower and the streaming options on the TV.

So spacious - a whole three bedroom cottage just for us. Made coming home difficult as we don't each have our own dressing room. Great location for wine tours.

The quality of some of the kitchen kit could have been better - but this is a detail.

The view into the vineyards was gorgeous. Also got to see amazing sunsets. We are a group of eight so having the side by side town homes where we could share barbecues also was excellent

Perfect location, especially for wine buffs. The decor and furnishings were well appointed, the vineyards outside the back door and lovely gardens.

Second bathroom downstairs was rather small, not great access for second couple who travelled with us. No light at back patio for cooking on BBQ.

Nice big property, good sized bedrooms. Plenty of plates, cups and cutlery. Property has a pool and tennis court. Quiet location. About 15 minutes out from Blenheim but on the same road as a couple of very good wineries and the Vines Village.

They King bed should probably have been in the room they put the two singles for our kids. We could have fixed by simply changing the sheets but didn’t bother.

Full scale 2 story condo with unobstructed view of vineyards and mountains. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer provided in garage with drying rack provided. Nice patio and upstairs balcony. Quiet. Friendly host. Approximately 15 minutes by car to town. Many wineries in close proximity. Unique handcrafted artwork throughout.

Kitchen smelled a little from previous guest (curry) which dissipated during stay. No window screens except for skylight upstairs. Couch showing signs of wear.

I hate having to say that anything wasn’t good , but The absolutely only thing we all didn’t like was that the pillows were very uncomfortable too big and hard . Everything else was perfect
