The Apartment was alot bigger than we thought & very well set out.
Dishwasher was provided but had a sign on it saying do not use. We were there only for 1 night but if staying a week it would have been nice to use the dishwasher as there was a full kitchen. It should be noted on Booking.Com that this is an upstairs Apartment with a steep external metal stairs for entry. Elderly would struggle to go up & down safely. We would have not booked as have a special needs adult daughter that is mainly in a wheelchair & was quite an effort to help her up & down while keeping safety a prority from falling. Went down to have a beer on a saturday night to the pub below at 8:30pm & they were shutting the pub.

We stayed here for only one night to bike around the wineries and I must say it was a perfect base for this trip. We asked beforehand if we can have two bikes and they were graciously provided free of charge upon arrival, so we could start our little wine tasting tour right away - much appreciated 👍🏻 The unit itself was motel-style with a little kitchenette, nothing fancy but functional and the bed was really comfy. The adjacent pub was also a very nice spot for dinner which I recommend even if not staying overnight. The local Fresh Choice (supermarket) is within walking distance and across the street there's a great coffee spot (Phoenix) with a nice atmosphere for breakfast or afternoon.

Large clean and light room. Lots of parking. Comfy bed. Quiet. Great pub with a beer garden steps away. Beer garden was lovely with trees and lots of choices of sun or shade. Inside, the pub was charming and we immediately felt at home. Had a great pub roast pork dinner. Other food looked good too. Friendly staff, locals, and travellers. Able to rent bikes and Jack delivered them right to our door. Bikes were in great shape and had handle bags which would easily hold chocolate from the local chocolate factory and/or wine from local wineries - - just saying! Had a map that showed local bike trails (the maps were a bit confusing so don’t be surprised if you come to a gate with path on other side - - we lifted bikes over and just kept riding). Room had French press coffee maker and good coffee for it. Our room was an accessible room which was nice to see.
If you want to watch TV there were limited channels but that wasn’t an issue for us.

Great location and good to be by the pub. Rooms were clean although a little hot as no air-conditioning. Ate in the pub although limited menu it was good. Beer on the little pricey side. Kitchenette only had microwave and toaster which was fine for us. Tea coffee and milk provided. Only 2 pillows but the host was very accommodating and provided more upon request. This was the same for anything that you needed.

I was expecting to be in a standard motel unit, and was surprised to find that we had been allocated a suite of rooms above the restaurant. It was a bit dated and worn...but then it is an Old English Pub themed restraurant so finding ultra modern rooms upstairs wouldn't have been in keeping. Being a Monday night the other guests left early so noise wasn't an issue, and having the restraurant downstairs was very convenient. The food was excellent and well priced.
The furniture was a bit shabby and really needs replacing. Shag pile carpet went out with the '80s. The configuration of the bathroom and toilet was a bit weird (at opposite ends of the building). First on the list of things to do if renovating is to get rid of the carpet in the shower room.

We loved this little pub/motel in the heart of Marlborough wine country. We chose it because we were taking the intercoastal ferry from Wellingtin to Picton and wanted to rent bicycles to go to some wineries. The Cork and Keg was perfect as we had booked our bikes with Wine Tours by Bike which was walking distance away (a great bike rental place BTW). We enjoyed dinner at the pub as well. There are some cooking facilities but not full kitchen in the unit, but enough fir a light meal/breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and great value. Really enjoyed.

It was a really cute pub with great food. The room was very clean and spacious. On site parking was available at no extra cost. It was our favorite place we stayed on our trip, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute, cozy place to spend a couple of days.
Parking was a little hard to come by during dinner hours. However, there is lots of street parking available.

Staff were really friendly (especially the dog ;)). Really conveniently located accommodation, was really clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom was nice and spacious, plugs were conveniently placed.
Only one small down side - I only had one pillow on my side of the bed.

Great location with walking access to the main wineries in the famous Marlborough area. The English pub style with numerous beers on tap and associated food was a perfect contrast to the wine tours; it allowed for evening neutralization of the wine tasting.

Hosts just lovely. Being able to sit in front of an open fire in their pub next door while eating a pub dinner and a glass of wine mingling with the locals was fun.
Nothing really. Might have been nice to have heating turned on prior to our arrival but the room really didn’t take long to warm up.
