Cheapest motel and perfectly adequate for the price. There is a good pub/restaurant/bottle store/takeaways just round the corner and a supermarket and cafe just a short walk away. Friendly owner who showed me to the unit and gave me the good old Kiwi bottle of milk for my coffee. Having the outdoor pool would be great for stays in peak summer time.

It is VERY basic so suitable for people only wanting a bed for the night really. No hob/oven/cooking stuff just microwave, kettle and toaster. Shower pressure was a bit dribbly and the control was a bit awkward to figure out.

Older place renewed and roomy as a result. Nice little touches like proper bar of soap instead of those irritating dispensing liquid soap arrangements. Good location, handy to various food, drink, eating outlets.

Overall, nothing in particular stood out although I thought the handwritten note on an old piece of corrugated box cardboard with the WIFI password details at the reception area could have been just a little more professional. I'm not saying this is bad but it tends to reflect an overall impression that be unwarranted.

Trampoline and pool for the kids. Had a good kitchen so we could self cater. Really close to a supermarket. We had a number of rooms and our unit was a two bedroom with a large lounge so we could all gather for games night, and we used the outside picnic table for a shared dinner. We arrived very early in the morning after an overnight ferry, and they arranged access to our unit in advance.

Everything went well. These premises are exceptionally clean and tidy, pristine in fact. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing seems to be a problem to them. Close to supermarket chemist and some bar/ eating houses and also close to the center of town

A shower mat on the exceptionally clean and super shiny shower floor may prevent some falls.

Location suited us, very good parking. Back from the road. Nice swimming pool. The woman on cleaning were very pleasant and changed our linen each day, emptied rubbish.

We had to take the light bulb to the reception to be replaced and the bathroom basin was very slow draining away. A new shower had been put in but some painting needed to be done on a wall beside the shower.

Great central location to everything!. Had a trampoline and fenced pool/bbq area, fun for the kids. Unit was very spacious & tidy and cot was ready to go in our room which was helpful after a long day of travelling.

It is right on the main road so traffic was loud during peak times. Could have done with some air con units, it did get quite warm at night (we stayed late Feb). But none of this made our stay uncomfortable.

Nice, clean motel and met expectations for the price paid. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Not right in town but still a handy location to supermarkets and pubs as well as a coffee cart right around the corner. Only bad thing I have to say was they could have had more fans in the rooms as we stayed in February and it was super hot! Would definitely stay here again.

room was too small for a couple, with no table or chairs.only 1 bedside table and 1 chair, nowhere for partner pills glasses etc when both inside was only bed to sit on, I don't like sitting on the bed. definitely would not be suitable in winter for a couple luckily sun was out and we were able to sit outside.

Motel room was very spacious and comfortable. Lots of room where we could relax, as had a lounge area . Good facilities. Had an outside pool. Separate bedroom for our daughter to sleep in. We enjoyed cooking in our motel room. Enjoyed using the kitchen. Great after travelling over the ferry after a long day travelling. Motel is on a main road. Not far to drive to Pak n save for shopping. Wished we had more time to explore the township and area.
