What a great location a few minutes walk into town the train station and the info center where the hop on hop off wine tour departs from . Close to bottle shop ,bar and grill ,fruit and vege shop and bakery .The owner Lisa and her family are such lovely people and nothing is too much trouble . Washing machine and dryer available in the laundry just ask at reception . The room was very spacious clean and had everything you needed as described.We will definitely book here again .Thanks so much for looking after us.

The property was clean and tidy and very roomy. It was surprisingly quiet especially as the rail line was one side and the river walk the other side. Loved the church bells I could hear in the distance. Nice and close to town and all ammenities.

The only thing we didn’t like was the early hour (9am) that the staff appeared at your door to do the cleaning. After a quick knock and a call out they would open the door. Much quicker than we could make it to the door. A bit embarrassing if you were sleeping in. After all we were having a much needed restful holiday. I know we could have put the Do not Disturb on the door but never expected the cleaners to arrive that early.

The room was huge and the view out over the little river and park was delightful - I sat and watched the dog walkers and the ducks for ages. The kitchenette had everything you need, and the bed was comfy - very soft. When it got a little chilly outside the aircon did the trick. Every person I met was lovely - and very happy to help out with queries and assistance. I used the guest laundry that is attached to the pub in front of the motel and the machine was fast and efficient. The motel is an easy and short walk to the I-Site and train station for the Coastal railway.

Lovely large room with ensuite spa bath and nice sunlit balcony looking over the river - Waterfront. Very pleasant and relaxing, For a good meal and pleasant company the local Pub at 50mtrs was handy and the food excellent. Free snacks for the locals which we were invited to partake of, just made the evening.

Only one minor comment as this an interesting place to find, no problem, after asking a local. The address is Grove road, the main road out of Blenheim is Grove road. The motel was not on the main road as the Waterfront Motel is on the original Grove Road and set back off the main drag. Just behind the Super Liquor store that sits on the main road.

Comfy bed, great shower. Amazing staff, nothing was too much trouble. So helpful. Excellent location and quiet. Great view of the river.

Room needs a bit of a deep clean, some mold in shower and bathroom window. Also a lot of squished mosquito bodies and blood on the walls. Booking did say washing machine and dryer but there wasn't one in the room

Great location and nice view of the river from the room. Easy to walk to the shops and restaurants from here, and easy to find. Very spacious room and bathroom. Friendly service. Great place to stay and I would stay there again next time I'm in Blenheim.

Nothing really, although the connected bar seemed like a bit of a dive! Other reviews have made positive comments about it but it didn't seem like the kind of place most travelers would want to go. Still, we didn't hear much noise from there, even though it was Saturday night.

Location is great. Great views out of every room, and a lovely walking track along the river. Walking distance to the main shopping area. Both rooms i have stayed in (#1 & #12) are large, comfortable rooms, and very quiet. Lisa and her staff are very friendly, and easy to deal with.

The ONLY thing I can say that is a little negative, is the water pressure in the shower is not good. If possible to have more pressure in the shower then my rating would be 10/10.

Older style motel with a very large comfortable room with a settee to sit and watch TV in the evening. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Kitchenette, air conditioning and a nice view over the river and park. Convenient hotel/pub next door for dinner and cold draught beer on tap. On site parking. Good continental breakfast to the room. Lovely staff and everything very clean.

Fittings were a little bit tired although perfectly functional. Such a shame a brilliant location wasn't taken better advantage of; overlooking the park and stream, it would have been great to have a balcony or bigger window view. There were some rooms upstairs with balconies I hasten to add; I should have looked a bit more closely at the details when booking.

This is a great, centrally located motel, with a lovely view of the river. The rooms are quite large, and the kitchenette had everything I needed for my stay. The owners are amazing - this is Maori owned and operated - they made my stay an exceptional experience. I will always stay here when I visit Blenheim.
