Best breakfast ever, you get fresh croissants, I wanted porridge which was provided, all kinds of jams, spreads, they even had veggemite and marmite for the brits . Ian was full of local knowledge, he should be a tour guide to pass it on to more people :) We were picked up from the train station and the following day dropped off to the ferry terminal.
Not that I did not like it but people should know that it is a guest house which can host more people than just a couple. You share the kitchen/eating/hang out area with other guests. We were alone, no other guests and we had undivided attention from the host :)

We were met by lovely owner Janet who couldn't have been any more helpful. Really helped us get the best from our short stay in Picton. We arrived on a particularly chilly day and Janet made sure our rooms were warm on arrival by adding blow heaters which was a much appreciated touch. The accommodation was lovely and the breakfast set us up for the next day's travel. Met owner Ian at breakfast who was so helpful too.

Beautiful, spacious and very comfortable & clean room and dining area. Hosts met us immediately on arrival and instantly made us feel welcome and at home. (Guest accommodation is on ground floor, down a flight of stairs). Plentiful, wide-ranging teas and coffees in kitchen and dining area. All free for helping ourselves to. Location is handy for centre of Picton and ferry (to Wellington). Great breakfast, cereal, fresh fruit, boiled egg, toast & croissants available. Massive choice of spreads (toppings) for toast too. Good library. Lovely toiletries in bathroom.
Nothing, really. No complaints whatsoever.

We had booked two rooms but in effect it is a large self contained private ground floor apartment with it's own access, so great for a family. Beautiful help-yourself continental breakfast buffet with fresh fruit. Owner very friendly, chatty and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage and park there whilst walking the queen charlotte track. Handy enough for town. It didn't bother us that it is at the top end of the uphill.

Great place to stay. It ticked all the boxes for what we really like. Clean and friendly, easy walking distance to town, king bed, a comfortable place for 2 people to sit relax/read (not on the bed!!) good shower, small fridge, somewhere for us to make our own coffee, and outside seating area. The breakfast was also delicious (continental only).
Nothing, we really like this place!

Hosts were lovely , we needed an earlier breakfast as we were joining a hiking group and Janet and Ian were only too happy to make sure the breakfast was all laid out in time for us to make our pick up . Ian also recommended places to eat which were superb. They came and chatted with us but also gave us our space - we had the whole downstairs with a little kitchen and lounge all to ourselves- fantastic stay - no hesitation in recommending this B n B
Not a thing !

Lovely mid-range accommodation in Picton. Perfect large room with ensuite for my sister and I to stay in after completing the Queen Charlotte Track. Bed was incredibly comfy, room was well appointed, bathroom was clean (separate toilet and shower was handy!). The breakfast served in the morning was delicious, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating - came out to meet us on arrival to help with bags and show us around. A few minute walk into town, but far enough away to not get the constant thrum of the ferries. Couldnt recommend staying here more highly, and will be back when we are next coming through Picton.

Ian and Janet were incredibly friendly and really informative about not only the local area, but of New Zealand as a whole. They were fantastic hosts and we cannot say enough about how well we were treated.
Nothing. Everything was excellent.

Janet picked us up at the boat dock terminal, and then proceeded to give us a short drive around the community to show us what it look like since we didn’t have a car. It was above, and beyond what we expected. The bed was comfy. Breakfast brought down in the morning was nice. There’s a backyard patio which you can use. Unfortunately it was raining when we were there.
