The holiday park is well located and surrounded by forest. The bird calls were amazing. I only heard one train overhead, but it was early in the evening and did not disturb my sleep. The unit had a bathroom and small kitchen bench, with kettle and utensils for making coffee and eating. These were welcome as some of the other holiday park units in Picton do not have this.

The walls with adjoining unit are paper thin and the sounds from the family next door, particular the showering at 4.30am, impacted an otherwise great stay.

We booked an ensuite cabin for 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay. Our cabin served our needs, it was clean, the shower was super powerful and the bed was comfortable. The overhead train track didn't bother us either. The holiday park is minutes away from the township and Ferry Terminal which was another reason why we booked there. They also offer a shared kitchen, lounge area and laundry facilities.

How easy it was to check in. No fuss, no forms, no fluffing around! It's close to the town. The area is so pretty. Enjoyed hearing the running river/creek. .

Hearing the neighbouring room people chatting like they're right in the room with you. I'm a light sleeper and the train that drove over the camp freaked me out at 5am... my teenage daughter didn't even hear it. She was all good.

Fantastic hosts. Been before & will do again. Great people. We arrived at after midnight & everything was organized for us. We forgot our blankets & called through & hosts didn't even want $ Everything was spotless. & just a great atmosphere. We could bring our dog & leave him in his cage:) Honestly. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Picton.

comfortable for a one night stay when having to catch a ferry the next morning. One queen and two bunks ideal for one person. Facilities a little dated but perfectly clean. Jug and toaster available, but no microwave. Location was close to ferry terminal and town to go and get some dinner.

A microwave would have been useful to heat food.

Everything was good , have private kitchen to cook , enough space for dining , cute TV to watch . Toilet and showers are nearby just a minute walk from the cottage . Had good facility of parking .

Wifi was not free , but purchasing 10GB with 5$ was not bad . Was fast wifi . With the price the accommodation was perfect .

We stayed here 2 nights, 10 days apart. The first night we were very cold, the heaters are on a timer, which you have to get out of bed to push The next night we stayed we asked for an extra blanket. The owners were very obliging, and happy to help. Great value for money. Tidy rooms.

The heater being on a timer, unable to continually heat the room. Towels provided would be great.

The cabin was legit an old rail car, so cool! The beds were very comfy. Standing outside at night having a vape, looking up at the stars and the bridge, a weka came and hung out around us. Easy check in and easy check out. Toilets clean and stocked with paper and soap

I stayed in a nice clean modern purpose built cabin. The single room accommodation was larger than some I have stayed at. It had its own cutlery and crockery, kettle, toaster and basin. There is a separate dining area which I didn't use ( I don't cook on holiday) that may have cooking facilities.

Location was beautiful. Distance to the shared toilets and showers was very convenient. Bed was very comfortable, and having running water in the room was really handy. I saw a weka outside my room in the evening which was just lovely.
