The unit was compact but very clean. It is what I would call 'older', that said has been updated with fresh light & bright decor! There are all the amenities needed for a brief stay. We appreciated the location being so very central with resteraunt & supermarket options right on the doorstep! A short stroll down to the Harbour with an ice cream made for a great afternoon! We cannot forget the loveliest host who was just so very helpful!!

We didn't appreciate other guests starting their motorbikes extremely early in the very small echo chamber of courtyard parking! As motorcyclists ourselves (& we were riding too) we are considerate of other guests & push our bikes out of the carpark before we start them. The mattresses on the queen beds were very soft & suffered from roll together!

This motel does not have the views of other places I have stayed in Picton but as the name states it makes up for it by being very central to everything being in the main street. I also enjoyed the retro style motel. The owners were extremely kind and helpful especially with looking after my luggage for a day before my check in after I changed my plans, and after check out when my ferry departure time was changed

The shower water temperature was annoyingly difficult to control. It is easy to hear people in adjoining and surrounding rooms..... I could hear snoring through my bathroom window! But these issues did not affect my very pleasant stay

The hostess was very kind and helpful. We just showed up without reservations and she helped us out. It was right on the Main Street near restaurants and bars for easy access. She even let us use a coupon she had for one of the nearby restaurants. The room was clean and warm (winter).

The blackout curtains weren’t blacking out most of the light. Just need to be a bit thicker. Could also hear most vehicles driving by.

Great location in Picton, just next to the 4Square supermarket and close to basically everything. Great owners - it was low season and I got upgraded to a beautiful unit + there was an issue with my room just before my check-out and they handled the issue in a second, gave me another room and were super efficient! Good shower, good kitchen with little treats, always appreciated! It was not warm when I stayed there but the heater works really well. It was calm.

Everything. We booked the motel for 4 people, there was another person joining the trip, no issues of accommodating in the booking. We got a room with 2 rooms: 3 single beds and two double beds. Location is great, walking distance from bus stop and ferry terminal. There are a few restaurants nearby and there is a supermarket just next door.

WiFi signal was weak in the bedrooms, presumably they are further away from the reception. However it was usable in the living room. Slight surprise during payment that mobile payment was not possible, only physical cards. Luckily the credit card number used on booking.com was sufficient for payment. Other than that everything else exceeded our expectations.

Awesome accommodation. Location is right in town so everything is within walking distance. Our room was really homely and clean. Loved the touches of small things like paper towels, glad wrap and tin foil in the cupboard. Small things but very handy. The motel hosts were really helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Picton.

Janine came to the rescue when I realized id left my charger behind at previous accommodation - she was very kind and helpful. On arrival she answered our questions about things to do/where to go etc

It was very noisy ibetween 5.00 - 5.30 am Thursday morning ….rubbish collection day maybe?! There was very little space to put anything in my room - (where are you supposed to put the 7or 8 pillows and cushions that are on the bed.?! ) but this wasn’t a problem really for a two night stay….

Location was great. So close to all amenities. Thank you to the owners that left some special Easter goodies for us. Comfortable beds. Quiet back family unit. Great shower pressure.

Nothing really. Only thing that may have been helpful were bowls but we managed.

This was probably in a months travel of staying in Airbnb and friends, homes and hotels and such; one of the most comfortable beds and linens and pillows I have ever experienced.

I would say the only bad thing were late night, noisy neighbors. The quarters are very, very close to each other so if people are knocking on doors and speaking outside or driving their cars in and out, you will hear it.

Morty and Janine are the most welcoming people every hotel/motel should have. They upgraded me because my ferry bookings were changed due to grounding. I travel thru out the country and have stayed at top dollar motels, but motels are only as good as the people. Highly recommended in Picton. Top accommodation, it has all you needs and comfort of a home. Down to glad wrap in the Kitchen. Thank you Morty and Janine for accommodating me.
