The hotel was in a good location. We stayed in two different rooms on two separate dates during our trip to New Zealand. The first time, we had a Standard King Studio on the ground level. There was outdoor seating in front of the unit, but we didn’t use it since it was right next to the parking lot. The second time, we stayed on the upper level in an Executive One-Bedroom Spa Unit. It had a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed. We enjoyed both the room and the spa bath. It was nice to be on the upper level.

Awesome two bedroom apartment. I loved the amazing spa bath and also great shower. It was very clean and spacious. The beds are super comfy with luxurious pillows to match. Excellent amenities with everything you need. Housekeeping check on you every day to replace fresh linen and anything else you require. There are 2 large wall mounted TVs. One in the lounge and one in the first bedroom.. Netflix and Amazon Prime are available along with fee sky channels.The staff are so friendly and welcoming, from check in to check out. It made the trip to have a supermarket right across the road. I highly recommend this room. 😊

Great location for an overnight stay if taking the early ferry to Wellington. Very clean and the kitchenette provided sufficient cutlery and dishes. Very basic utilitarian decor. Grocery store just across the street and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Personally don’t care for a shower over tub combination. In our case it was shower over spa tub which could be dangerous for anyone with mobility issues.

Arranged with owners that I would need midnight check-in due to arriving on the late ferry. No problems with that. Arrived at 12.30am to room with heaters on and curtains drawn- room was lovely and warm. Nice wee touches like that will have me book there again should I need accommodation in Picton.

Only there for 6 hours but couldn’t fault anything.

Great location, lovely big modern well equipped rooms, short downhill walk to the harbour, close to town centre.

We couldn't store our luggage here whilst walking the queen charlotte track, so had the hassle of taking it to the B&B we were using on our return. No one manning reception early in the morning so you leave the key in your room. Not a problem unless you foolishly leave something behind and want to get back in !!!! Luckily reception did open before our boat left and I ran back down the hill to make it in time.

Great location in Central Picton, close to shops and waterfront, but still relatively quiet. We were able to check in early, and the faulty bedside light was replaced immediately - the owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our unit was spacious with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Ample car parking on site. The complimentary biscuits with the tea and coffee sachets was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Two minor things - an extra towel for drying hair would have been good, and bigger breakfast bowls.

Exceptionally clean, lovely cleaning ladies, very cheerful. Easy checkin, very friendly.... Unit serviced every day. Great location within easy walk of the shops and waterfront Nice quiet location.

Perhaps a small chopping board in the kitchen would be helpful. I was trying to make some sandwiches and not cutting the bench top. Also, only 2 of everything, knives, forks, crockery, glasses, etc. Also, the motel compendium is only available by scanning a code. This was not helpful as I do not have a scanner on my phone and also thinking of elderly people not everyone has a smart phone so the old fashioned book compendium would be better in our view. Shower cubicle very small indeed.

Our room was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. The bed was comfy, nice linen, sky tv and bonus cookies. It was an easy walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Our ferry sailing had been delayed and the lovely host let us leave our car in the carpark for a few hours. Much appreciated.

The shower tray had a metal base, but that's just a tiny niggle. It was good value.

Clean, quiet and spacious room in excellent location. Just 3 minute walk to cafes, eateries and shops on the waterfront. Just across the road from the supermarket which is handy.

Bathroom/Shower a little on the small side with very little room for even 1 toilet bag but plenty hot enough and good water pressure.

Everything. Cozy comfortable room, close walking to everything with small supermarket across the road for extra milk for your tea and coffee. The staff were so nice and helpful in knowing where places were and how to get to them. Car parking easy. Very clean.

Wanted to stay another night.
