Hi Dahna, Jackie, Sophia Thank you for a lovely wonderful stay at THP, we appreciate the room upgrade due to minor issues with our accommodation, we declined the upgrade because we were content and happy to stay in our 1 bedroom motel room, which was surprisingly lovely. (minor issues were only to be noted, not to be taken as a complaint. Brigette in housekeeping staff was lovely, and we wish to thank her also. We will definitely stay at THP again and will definitely without a doubt recommend THP to all our Fanau and friends and everyone else we encounter on our travels here in NZ!!! Greatest staff, we felt safe and at home, we even observed all the males staff dcarrying out maintenance and turning all night lights on for the shared facilities, the staff are very competent, efficient and friendly, we cannot say encounter about them👌 Perfect family, couple, group stay!! THP you Rock!!...we will see you next time!! THANK 😊 YOU ALL!!!

A wee hidden gem in Picton. I drove past it before I found it. The cabin was comfy. The bathroom facilities were superb. The kitchen was clean and had everything you wanted, though the cutlery was at a premium (not much there), so its definitely first in first eating with utensils. Bonnie was very helpful and friendly.

Parking was a bit tight for my SUV, but with a bit of squeezing I managed to get the nose tucked in sufficiently that it would not get swiped by cabin folk above my cabin. Roadside signage was hard to see, especially in a South Island dusk.

This was a surprise. Super clean and very comfy. It was a little story book cottage in the woods. A short walk to the downtown area, but the walk was wonderful - along the waterfront and through the marina. The downside was that we specifically booked for a cabin with a bathroom, but received a email the day of our arrival (too close to cancel) that we would be getting a place with a shared bathroom. And this bathroom was a short walk from our place. At first we were upset about the news. But once we got there - th place was so nice and clean we didn’t really care.

What a fantastic holiday park. I arrived late, but all instructions on email were clear, so i got my keys, site map and info with no problems. Parking was no problem either, right near my site. The room was lovely - double bed and a 2x bunk. Kettle and coffees and teas were provided. Fresh fluffy towels too. Communal kitchen was spotless. The shower and toilet block was immaculate and a powerful refreshing shower too. Theres a tv lounge, even a swimming pool, large outside chess board, kids area and bbq area. Its also a very very short drive to the Picton ferry. I would happily stay again. First class!

Nothing at all

Easy walking distance to the town centre. Welcoming staff. Off street parking. Large one bedroom unit with balcony, kitchen and large bathroom, newly renovated. Clean and warm, heating wasn't required, the unit was warm enough. The unit had its own stick vac. The property is well set out with communal facilities including coin operated washing machines and dryers and outside clothes lines. There's a pool and toddlers pool, trampoline, outside chess set and childrens play equipment, communal bbq, pizza oven and spa you can pre book. I highly recommend.

I absolutely love staying at this accommodation. My request to not be disturbed was catered for and the staff were very friendly. Love how you can choose to be in your room relaxing or outside at the other facilities. Room is very comfortable and clean and has everything I need. Just what I need for my getaway.

I couldn’t honestly tell you anything that I didn’t like. Maybe other than I paid a little bit more for my room than I usually do when I stay but understand that it’s peak time of the year.

The over all feel of the park was great...staff very friendly and very helpful ,even drove our luggage up to the cabin for us...we were so thankful. Location was convenient..tree lined park.. immaculate amenities. Easy check in..new girl at reception very helpful and efficient. Overall we loved our stay.

The beds / mattresses in cabin 12...were like sleeping in a hammock...come on guys just spend that little bit of extra money and throw out those old tired mattresses...really put a damper on an otherwise great stay Thank god we only did 2 nights as that was all our backs could take.. Also no screens on window or door ...was very stuffy and mosquitos had fun. Just a couple of small upgrades would have made our stay perfect. Sub standard mattress like from a flop house brought your beautiful park right down .

From the Host to the room. Everything was excellent. Well equipped room. Perfect for kids and adults to enjoy. Caters to all size groups weather renting a room or taking caravans or pitching a tent. The pool and spa were amazing. The shower has great pressure The washing machine and dryer are big and cheap. Pet friendly. Very clean and tidy. The kids play room is awesome too. Outdoor park kept my moko entertained for hours Outdoor BBQ entertaining area. Big communal kitchen, fully equipped The Hostess is AMAZING 💜 LOVED LOVED LOVED

We loved everything

Location is reasonably close to the Picton township, and the facilities are fantastic. Nice warm welcome from the staff. Stayed in one of the motels, reasonably priced, great parking for my Ute, I would love to stay here again.

This is just the criticism of booking.com because what I choose online is not what I was given when I got there. Apparently you have to phone reception after your booking to confirm the bedroom you have online AND if it’s not the one you choose then you pay more. So it’s deceiving. Either this holiday park is loading their info incorrectly or booking.com is getting their wires crossed because my original booking was not available when I got there, so I upgraded and paid more for a motel room. Lucky I had money to do so!

Friendly welcoming reception staff. Extremely clean kitchen and bathrooms which were tended to regularly. Bed was very comfortable and I loved being able to sit out on the front porch. 15mins walk to the Info Centre for Intercity bus, 10mins to main street with cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend A Touch of Spice for Indian.

Our cabin was extremely hot even though the windows were open when we arrived. I managed to borrow a small fan from reception but it only helped if it was blowing directly on you, so sleeping at night was difficult and we didn't want to be inside during the day. We also paid 3-4 star motel rates but this was the only option available in Picton for our unexpected stopover apart from a cabin with only bunks in it and no TV or fridge, so we had to take it. For campervans I'd say this place is ideal.
