Yes I really liked the location. Not far from the main road (Waikawa road, I think) but far enough to feel remote. The view from the seating room was great, this part of the year I guess the most quite. I think summer time the leisure craft traffic might be a bit too much (marina entrance is very close). Apart from that we were happy with our stay. Jolly Rogers is in walking distance, great pub. Highly recommended.

Well, it's personal preference, but the bed was very soft for our licking. Not even worth to mention it. And again, one night only, so I shouldn't call it an issue.

This location offers a wonderful view and comfort. Even on a rainy day the bay provides lovely scenery. We also saw herons and skates swimming past. Great room with all we needed. Having the full kitchen helps with preparing family meals. Fantastic staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Nothing to comment on. We were concerned about not having air conditioning in early January but it wasn’t an issue at all.

Very pleasant and comfortable place to stay!

It all went well. Rachael was gracious, courteous and efficient. The cleaning lady was friendly and gracious and obviously very good at her job. Overall presentation and situation were brilliant.

There was nothing we didn't like. My only miniscule disappointment was that the radio didn't work but I accept that this is a very common issue at accommodation places and to a point I can understand why. I might be a bit mean, but I say, that if the radio had been working I'd have scored exceptional straight up!

The property was well presented - the grounds and buildings were well looked after and immaculate. The view from the lounge was very good and it was nice to watch the birds. On arrival the Receptionist was very bubbly and friendly, the room service staff were helpful and kind as was the gentlemen cutting the grass. The room was clean and had all the equipment you would need to stay. It was a very clean and tidy unit. Plenty of seats and cushions s even for the patio. The local restaurant and pub gives a discount off when you stay here and is in walking distance. Very big portions at a very reasonable price too!

Heard some noise from neighbours and cars on gravel as people left early in the morning but it’s to be expected for a ferry area waiting place etc

We absolutely enjoyed our waterfront facing room. The interior was well set out & lighting was good. Us Aussies had to make use of the heater & were happy it worked very proficiently. Our host & service staff were very professional & friendly Would stay here again. Perhaps next time I’d try fishing.

No free beer in fridge. Haha

My Partner is in an electric wheelchair, on recognition of this by the owners , we were accommodated in a very comfortable 2bed apartment, with wheelchair access, and brilliant wetfloor shower facilities, also given a mobility shower stool to use , we just felt so blessed

Mosquitoes.. definitely shut the sliding door early ...in the morning we did find the fly spray provided while doing our dishes 🤣🤪

We did not have breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the motel. The staff were extremely friendly. The outlook from our room was outstanding. It is rare that I have stayed in such a high quality motel. It was a very guick drive into Picton, and where we stayed was very quiet.

Nothing to complain about.

Loved our stay here with the family. It had everything we needed and the beds were so comfy. The views were stunning at sunset and the ducks wandering around were fun to watch in the morning. We also really appreciated the service from the staff & owner. We were provided with great local knowledge and told our most convenient options for food, walks and scenic views. We appreciated the service - thank-you 😊

the size of the kitchen & the layout of this unit... which is the smallest one, so no view from bed in the photos there was a kayak & SUP but this was something a guest brought with them
