Nice sized room, comfortable bed, short easy walk to boat trips/water taxis and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. had small kitchen. Nice breeze when we opened doors on both ends of unit. We did eko boat wildlife tour with island stop and that was very nice. Also hiked a section of Queen Charlotte Track using water taxi and that was a very nice hike. Picton is very small town and closes up early.

Room did not have a drying rack but laundry room had two and host let us use one for a day. Place is a bit dated.

The hotel was only a few minutes drive from the ferry port, so this made getting settled soon after arriving very easy, especially as it was out of hours arrival. In terms of the room, it was like a small apartment and offered Sky TV, and the spa bath was excellent. In terms of an overall room, this is arguably the best for value that I've had in my recent holiday. I didn't see any members of staff, but communicated with them over the chat option on here several times, and they were decent enough.

The only reason I've pulled it down to an 8 is that whilst there is soundproofing between rooms, the windows are not even close to be, so any traffic that goes by is heard with very little volume lowering. A train also went by in the middle of the night, waking me up briefly. For a one night stay, it was fine, but not sure I could recommend it for multiple nights.

Perfect location on the main drag of town and walking distance to everything (as a tourist), check in was a breeze, the owner was so friendly and happy to share her recommendations of where to eat, what to see / do, our room was plenty spacious and had everything we needed and more for an extra comfortable stay. The discount dinner voucher was unexpected but appreciated and her recommendation for dinner (The Thirsty Pig) was well received by my whole family! Parking on site was a bonus as was the complimentary umbrellas for use which was an unexpected but appreciated touch when walking to dinner in the winter rain!).

The water pressure of the shower was a little underwhelming but to be fair, this is outside of their control and wasn’t a dealbreaker for us when everything else about our stay was so wonderful.

Very close to the Ferry terminal. Located right next to the Z Station for petrol or late night snacks if youve just come off a late ferry ride. It is within walking distance to the dog park, supermarket and many eateries. Comfy beds, clean spaces, very spacious. Our one bedroom studio had a seperate toilet from the shower, the shower has great pressure and i loved the SixforGood products which smell great and i think is really awesome of Broadway Motel to be supporting!! The staff are kind and accommadating!

Spacious warm Motel with all the facilities one needs...Balcony and seating areas, (1 with view) out both sides of our motel unit, to maximize sun...2 x TVs , (never seen that before.); one facing comfy bed and the other facing open plan lounge/sofa with desk and dining table. Big bathroom. Short walk to main shops/restaurants/beach and walks with stunning views. Park up and leave car at Motel. Friendly helpful staff and a sociable local white rabbit and tabby cat complete the picture!

This Motel is, by far,the Best in Picton,& Blenheim, the view of the bush clad hills was awesome,the unit itself was clean,2 tvs,and the shower water pressure was second to none.My wife & I really enjoyed our 3 day stay,,and we will be back in July for sure!!. It's also only a 5min walk to the Picton Harbour, with many interesting shops on the way.

Suprised my husband to the South island. And had a Awesome host, she made our stay so welcoming, clean, and spacious.Exceeded our expectations Stayed for 2 nights, and our room was cleaned, and everything was refilled the next day as we went sightseeing. Honestly, she and this motel we put as top 10..SUPERB 10/10

Nothing to dislike

Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Good location and awesome bed! The staff serviced the room each day and we returned to a tidy room. Having a laundry available was perfect, and we were able to grill dinner on the BBQ provided.

Almost nothing! The bathroom included a large spa tub. Lovely, but a dedicated shower would have been my preference.

We were mostly happy.

Just a few things which need addressing 1. Lock needed on bathroom door. 2. Net curtain needed on master bedroom wi dow, as very visible looking into the room from the road. 3. Freezer on fridge, or at least a door on the freezer compartment in the fridge. 4. Extra toilet paper. 1 part roll for 4 people doesn't cut it. 5. Lack of bench space. 6. Utility knife needed.

Very good Reception, Cleanliness, room space and facilities. The location was very convenient in terms of access to the town area.

There were not quite enough marked car parks on site for the number of guests on the night we stayed. Noise from the adjacent road and railway line was significant, especially the train which sounded as though it passed right next door at 10:30pm
