The location was perfect for us. Needed to take the ferry over from Picton. Close to the beach and a local restaurant we walked to. Check In was a breeze. Nice shower, bathroom, kitchen and always appreciate milk from local dairy farms. There were two beds in living room, I took one twin and slept well. The owner was so pleasant and lovely.

A fantastic location in a quiet part of Picton. Room was spacious, clean tidy with all the amenities you’d need. We had a genuinely warm welcome from the owners. Unit is classic old-school kiwi motel vibe but bathroom up-to-date. Overall it was perfect for us and wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

A lovely little gem in Picton. Old fashioned quaint kitchen but a beautiful new bathroom & new floor coverings. Very comfortable beds & great aircon.

The only thing I think is if they put the fridge on before you got to the room would be great for travellers with cold food on board.

It's 60s style reminded us of our youth and home Comfortable and plenty of space indoors. There are two outdoor seating areas and a car park at the door. Motel is close to the beach and we felt very welcome by the friendly owners.

The motel is in a great location next to the beach/park, and very quiet. It has everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. THe owner and the staff are friendly and helpful, and really made us feel welcome. We won't hesitate to stay here again.

Don't judge this book by it's cover. The owners have worked hard to upgrade and modernise the interior. Had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location is awesome - so close to the beach but lovely and quiet.

Convenient location and Motel room was very clean. The owners were very nice.

I wish we had more of a view from our room, but you could walk across the street to the beach area which was nice. We only stayed one night so it was a quick trip.

Friendly, welcoming host, generously-sized unit, a quirky mixture of old and new - which we loved. Overall a delight and a lovely stay. It was good to explore this little area outside of Picton.

Location was lovely just outside picton - host was very welcoming. Gave us some milk for a coffee - lovely touch.

There was no local shop for anything extra- had to drive to picton.

It had everything we needed for a comfortable, self sufficient stay. Location was perfect. It was somewhat dated but we didn't have an issue with that.

Perhaps one lot of neighbours were too noisy but that's what happens sometimes.
