It was comfortable and well equipped. The location was convenient for getting into Christchurch and there was a good range of shops very nearby for groceries and other things .

The bed was super comfy, the room was warm and clean, and the shower had good pressure, I would definitely recommend and stay again. thanks for making our weekend easy

we were the only room without net curtains for privacy and felt a little too exposed for comfort. luckily, we were hardly in the room during our stay so wasn't a big issue for us .

Location is perfect, near shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a large domain across the street for the dog. The room had a fully fenced back garden which was perfect for our dog. When we arrived we needed a stretcher bed, which was quickly supplied. The hosts are very nice and always very helpful. The shower was fantastic.

The stretcher bed, most uncomfortable sleep ever! Make sure you don't need it.

Great staff, good size rooms, moved from by the road to a little further away which was great. Nothing was too difficult for manager.

Shower showed signs of mould around the edges and edge of glass. Water poured under door is shower head not angled away. Could do with an upgrade of shower.

Really friendly & helpful staff - we were arriving after hours and they left our room unlocked and lights on which was really appreciated 🙏 Very spacious room, comfy bed and ample cooking supplies (though we did not cook). We would happily stay again next time we’re in town.

It is on a fairly busy road so there is some road noise. It’s to be expected though when staying near the city, so bring earplugs if you’re not used to it.

Good location, easy access, nice host, smart TV, wifi, and basic amenities. Kids loved to play on the open and on the little play space. They also lived the host's pet dog - so thank you.

I felt it was a little bit expensive for the facilities provided.

Owner at reception was nice and friendly. property allowed pets- the private backyard was perfect for us to have our small dogs.

On my birthday & public holiday- we were preparing to go out to our bookings. however a man came to spray and spray the lawns without saying anything - leaving the gates opened and our dogs going crazy luckily they were not outside at that time. we then had to spend the next 30-40 mins calming our dogs while he did his job. whats worst is when having a conversation between us- as i wondered why there was someone doing maintenance when our unit said DO NOT DISTURB, on a public holiday, right at lunch time (we could have planned a bbq at that moment - or using the backyard space we paid for)- the man mowing the lawns answered in our conversation and yelled “Shut up” at me.

Great place with everything we needed for a one night stay. I have never seen a motel with an air fryer and we made the best potatoes with it. There was also silverware, dishes, micro, frig, really everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly too.

The rooms were modern and spacious. With all that was needed for our simple stay and a place to sleep at a very cheap price compared to anyone else in the area and being on the main road it was easy to get back to.

Did get a lot of road noise being right on the roadside and with 2 kids I should've booked a room with 2 rooms (my mistake)

great clean room, with all new amenities. Staff was accommodating.

The main road is very loud. But to be expected in a busy location Shower door has a hole in it which cause the floor to get excessively wet.
