Layout of the rooms and the addition of the pool and spa made it a great place for a large group including kids. Great easy walk to Wainui and Sponge Bay too. The staff were so awesome, kind and willing to accommodate requests. The conjoined room option was also a bonus!

It was a wee bit out of town which made it a drive to go places. There's a few odd bits about furniture, like the broken sofa bed in one of the rooms. They'd also just had a hard time off the back of rnv so the cleanliness wasn't what we would expect but it definitely improved over the days there so probably an anomoly

The whole complex was nice and flash love that it had a pool and spa pool I love water was only there one night and wouldn't if had time for a spa if I hadn't of just jumped in at 9.30 at night it was good meant to be closed at 8.30pm and I hopped in at 9.30pm lol

The beds were to soft but everyone is different I'm a big person so I go for firm mattersess but not everybody is big like me cant everything I guess but yeah soft bed just sink straight into it lol

Great location close to Gisborne with close access to the almost empty beaches. The Oasis Motel rooms were very clean and well furnished. The large bed was very comfortable with immaculate bedding. A large wet room with toilet, basin and large mirror. Windows had insect netting which was a bonus. The pool area was well fenced in with good lock on the gate, pool was cool but not cold and the spa was 40°. The entire complex was very clean and tidy and enjoyed by us on our 3 night stay. We would certainly stay again, very friendly and helpful.

Location was out of town but not too far away but suited us as we were more interested in the beaches. Car parks at Motel were bigger than normal which helped with unloading/loading luggage.

There were no kitchen facilities so had to get water for the jug from the sink in the bathroom but we made do.

Such comfy beds, good sized room and great location

I couldn’t figure out how to get the TV to work - didn’t know how to get it onto SkyTV and could only access Netflix/Prime/Disney etc if you had your own account and logged in (I’m also not very tech savvy and didn’t try for long to suss it out)

Me and my children had a great stay. Friendly welcoming owners and staff. Free use of washing machine. Pool and spa was a hit kids loved it. Clean tidy well equipped. Quiet at night. Great price and will definitely recommend and stay again.

Location suited us as we were only holiday, loved the decor, it was relaxing and the staff were accomodating of our needs and friendly. Beautifully clean, with a few added extras like bath salts for the spa bath. Bed was fabulous.

If I was going to be super picky the spa bath needs upgrading but honestly not that bad.

The staff where very polite and accommodating, beds where comfortable. Room was clean. The swimming pool was heated so it was great for that sunset swim definitely be back.

Didn't realised we had no cooking facilities apart from microwave but we made it work! Maybe a electric fry pan in the room would be handy or is there a communal kitchen i missed. Any way kai pai!

Loved staying here the staff where so friendly The room though basic was clean and the beds comfortable The pool outside was warm and clean the hot tube to die for relaxing and soothing at 40* All in all a great stay and one to recommend There was a launderette with the washing machine free and a small fee for the dryer Some great little bays to explore Parking was directly out side your apartment with a small table and chairs placed outside your room A small shop was in reception with essential on sale A small colour TV with coffee and tea layed on with a fridge a small bottle of milk was supplied The bathroom though on the small side had a walk in shower with towel supplied towel where supplied for use in the swimming pool and hot tube 😊👍👍👍👍

There wasn't much to dislike We had a great stay A bit close to the road
