only one thing is we traveled from hawkes bay and after 830pm I think maybe 7pm we can’t check in even if already paid via app etc so we had to race from hawkes bay to gizzy to make sure we make it in time I think there should be something in the description stating this all n all tho we made it n the staff and room was amazing

The woman at reception (manageress?) was very friendly and helpful. I could not get the TV to work and WiFi worked very badly. She came to my room to show me and she would have given me another access but could not remember the password. As I have unlimited data I set up a Hotspot and did not go back to her. Room service is very good - it was all very clean and tidy and well looked after. They fill up tea etc. (they write that milk is only provided once). My room was quiet, the bed good and good parking right in front of the room.

Free TV programmes are very limited. I would have given a higher mark but it is priced at the higher end for rooms which are quite old. Please get rid of the carpet. I could not find the switch to turn on the electric blanket at first - it was hidden underneath the mattress.

Nice new motel, good quality construction, furnishings and kitchenware. Unusually has double glazing as well, was so nice and quiet. All units are ground level with parking by the door. Seems well thought out and well looked after. No unexpected let downs.

Unless youre visiting the hospital, it is a little away from the centre of town - youre best to have a car. Only generic tea/coffee box that seems to be standard in all motels nationwide with terrible instant coffee... need to BYO. A few places ive stayed recently have added some moccona/decaf & hot chocolate sachets to the choice which makes a nice difference ;)

Lovely big clean room, with plenty of towels. Very quiet too.

Shower pressure was low, not sure if that is due to the current situation or not?

modern big apartment stile room, very well equiped kitchen. friendly owner, we would go back there anytime.

The facilities were amazing and having that extra comfort of a spacious lounge, kitchen and outdoor area gave this space the extra wow factor! We had a large group of whānau book out several rooms and the Deluxe Villa and worked out perfectly for our larger group. The location is perfect with The Tav bar/restaurant across the road with lovely staff and shops nearby, overall this place was perfect. Highly recommend this accommodation especially the Deluxe Villa having a house to yourself! Will definitely be booking here again ☺️ thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay amazing!

No faults whatsoever as the property was well looked after and lovely to stay in.

We arrived in the evening, it was right next to a family friendly tavern so we only had to walk across the road for dinner (after a long 6 hour drive). It's also close to small shops/dairy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Water pressure of shower wasn't that strong, but this wasn't a 'didn't like', it's more of a be aware of. If you are someone who likes a particular type of bed or you have back problems, the beds are your typical run of the mill beds. We didn't have an issue with the beds, but for others maybe to enquire.
