The staff/owners were so friendly and lovely from the moment we arrived! They gave us tips about places around the town and provided us with a map. The room was large and spacious and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family, including a large queen bed in one room, two singles in the second bedroom, and an extra bed in the lounge area. The beds were comfortable. We had an air con in the lounge room, which was amazing for the hot summer weather. There was also a very modern bathroom complete with a great shower and amazing spa bath! Dog friendly, which is a plus for our furry friend and a great area of grass space! Also, a trampoline and swing for children. Very quiet place to stay, despite being on the main road. Very happy!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay while in Greytown for the Winter Xmas Festival. The motel unit was fantastic. A great size and very clean, tidy, and comfortable. We were welcomed warmly by Yvette who happily stored our bags for us until check in as we had traveled from Wellington by train and bus. After a walk into town we returned to check in and the bags were waiting in our unit. We attended a workshop on Sunday afternoon, which we found out was outside the township. As we had no transport, Yvette kindly dropped us off and picked us up. We were eternally grateful. They were exceptional hosts and It was a pleasure staying with them. We will come again. Highly recommend.

Murray was very helpful with advice about local sites to see. Again the unit had a kitchen/dinette and anensuite bathroom with a wonderful shower.

Beds were fin but a pillow top might have helped these old bones. His wife was very personable as well. When the TV didn't work the first night Murray got it sorted.

Super clean and really well looked after. Beds were comfortable. And rooms we’re quite. Loved that there were plenty of towels and a little jacuzzi bath.

Was asked to pay for my brothers 1 night stand after they watched her leave and questioned why both beds were slept in when 2 people were booked. Was super awkward and felt quite uncomfortable about this.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when planning our time around Martinborough. The room was spotless, and there was plenty of room for our family to stretch out. Our kids appreciated the trampoline in the yard, and we appreciated the central location for what we wanted to do.

Our unit was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Loved the spa bath…shower had good pressure and always plenty of hot water. The kitchen was spacious with lots of bench space…enough equipment to self cater if you want to. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of parking available. Staff very friendly and extra helpful

I think someone may have had a few sneaky smokes but it was well aired.

Real milk, tea and coffee! The room was fabulous - huge, comfy, clean and new looking. I had tge accessibility room and would recommend for people in wheelchairs - bathroom seemed perfectly set up.

Nothing of importance! The electronic lock told you door locked or not, but I couldn't double check manually.

Location is just off the main road, but you cant really hear the traffic. Very welcoming and friendly staff who answered all my questions with ease and also told me about local events that might interest me. Next time I will make sure to stay longer so I can relax on the small porch that is attached to my room. I like a really firm mattress and pillows, and was mega happy to find the perfect mattress that my back was also happy with and the pillows felt so new and nice.

That I didn't stay longer as it was such a nice place and I must go back again.

We always stay here when visiting Greytown. Excellent location for participating in the Greytown Woodside Trail parkrun https://www.parkrun.co.nz/greytownwoodsidetrail/ or for simply cycling/running/walking the Greytown Woodside Trail.

The rooms are a little dark, but probably lighter once the oak trees have lost their leaves in winter.

The proprieters were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable.

It was a fraction further out than we'd expected, but still only a 10 minute walk and when my wife had high heels on Murray (the owner) dropped us at our destination - we really appeciated it!!
