The heat pump was fantastic as we are from Northland and not used to the winter climate! Parking directly in front of the room, an outside light as opposed to the whole complex being lit up. Appreciated the table and chairs as we sat and ate takeaways in our room and the heated towel rail was working. Special mention to the shower dome, we have one at home and it works fabulous for keeping the heat in the shower.

The fridge was a wee bit noisy, problem solved if you switch it off. Found the summer sheets on the bed a bit cold for my liking but luckily I had fleece pjs and bed socks.

Great location between Wellington and the coast to Cape Palliser which was our reason for staying here. Reasonable sized room.

Reception was not available when we arrived in the rain and we were unable to call the number on the door. We eventually found the number on our booking sheet and were given a keybox code. Usually these are sent in advance but I don't believe that happened on this occasion. Had a problem with my phone but I had sent a message in advance to phone / message my spouse's phone if needed, so this could have been done.

the chalet was lovely obviously recently upgraded. beds comfortable. everything clean and tidy

a couch in the kitchen / dining are would be good owners weren’t there and a friend was looking after place not at property, had to be called felt a bit worried at the start when no one was there initially

The place is an old place, but it is super clean, the bed linens were very clean. The bathroom and toilet are very clean. The kitchen is very clean. We booked the room for 3 adults, one big double bed and a single. In the end, there are 4 of us, but we couldn't upgrade to have an extra bed because the place was full and the whole area was fully booked due to the big fair nearby. So the owner said we could bring an extra person, but we only paid for 3 pax. That was very nice of them. We love this place and we can recommend this place to anyone.

Very clean kitchen area and bathroom. Spacious unit.

Arrived late at night (having advised host) and no porch light. This along with how high the lock box was on a post made access to the box (where the key was stowed), impossible for me. Luckily when I phoned the host another guest heard the conversation and came out of their unit to help.

It is very well located, just a short walk to the shops and restaurant for dinner. The staff were very helpful.

We booked a family room but I was surprised by the layout. It was just a couple of us but it would have been quite hard if there was kids - having to get past them sleeping to get to the bathroom for example. Also no cooking facilities (not even a microwave) which I would have expected for a family room.

We liked the proximity to our event. The room had what we needed. Shower was great. The bed was comfy. Tv was great. Toilet flushed so well. Modernized and fresh feel to the room.

The bed moved so much during bed aerobics lol. That's it really lol

The location was very handy to what we needed to do. It suited our needs. I loved tge bed...had a very good sleep 😁

The hot water for a shower took way too long to heat up. Husband hmended up not finishing his shower cos the water went cold almost instantly after he turned the hot water tap on...🤔🫤

Excellent customer service. Smooth check-in, check out. Easy to find. Useful things inside the room.

Only small thing is that I wasn’t sure where to go for cellphone reception on the property (or if that should be expected).

Accommodation was great. We had a function in Martinborough so the short drive was great. Had everything that we required ie bathroom & comfy beds. Was a very warm & comfy chalet with the heat pump. Fantastic stay & will definitely be back.
