Wallaceville is a beautiful place to stay - private and gardens are very well kept. Be nice for families with young children if there were a little play area Also permit pets to stay too.

Nothing, it was really nice. Shame we didn’t really get to enjoy the room because we checked in then out again, came home after family function, showered then straight to sleep and checked out in the morning Only fault would be the showers - low pressure; be nice to have them high pressure but it was nice. No little fiddley packets of soap and shampoo. They were all in dispenser holders. Very nice

I loved how clean and peaceful the place was—perfect for a relaxing stay. The environment was quiet, making it easy to unwind and get a good night’s sleep. The beds were incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone needing rest and rejuvenation!

There wasn’t much to dislike. If I had to mention something, the parking area was a bit small and could be tricky when it’s busy. But honestly, it wasn’t a dealbreaker at all—just something to be aware of. Everything else more than made up for it.

Beautiful motor lodge, felt like staying in the countryside but was just down the road from the town and where i needed to be. Very spacious room, and very friendly staff. Loved the garden view, it felt so peaceful.

It was a really good place to stay, there wasn't really anything to complain about. Some constructive feedback though, the rooms could do with a little bit of love to fix some minor faults (eg, one of the drawers in the kitchen was missing a handle). Nothing major,

The view from our window was beautiful, it was nice being on the second floor. Hidden gem in Upperhut which isn't the most appealing place. Quiet area and only 10 minute walk to Brewtown!! So handy. Warm room, warm bed, nice carpet, blackout curtains and smart TV for in room entertainment.

Bathroom was a bit dated but considering the style of the house it was expected.

Fairly basic but very very clean and well kept. Beds are usually my main thing and they were super comfy.

Honestly nothing. We were in Room 9 and everything was great. Kettle broke but it was replaced with a brand new one within 10 mins.

Very friendly hostess, cooked breakfast for $15 was good value, delivered exactly on time and filling. Room clean and tidy. Air con and wall heating warmed the room quickly. Will use it again next time we need to stay in Upper Hutt.

Car park was tight due to some guests having v big vehicles but workable.

My room was located conveniently on the ground floor. Carpark was also close to the entrance of my room. My room was very clean and tidy. Staff were very polite. Complimentary breakfast is definitely a good choice after a night out or no time for shopping and cooking 😊. I especially loved the atmosphere of the outside.

Location and setting was perfect. Quiet with beautiful grounds and buildings. Friendly Staff serviced our room every day and were very willing to provide whatever we needed. Comfy bed and very good blackout curtains.

I think the cost wasn't justified for winter when hardly any other rooms were occupied. The family room is actually 2 inter connecting rooms which isn't mentioned in the listing. We worried about a kid walking out of the other room in the middle of the night as it couldn't be locked from being opened on the inside.

My room was good, tidy and clean. Located at the entrance of the mountain makes it quiet. I was driving to the holiday, so the location was fine for me. Will come back with the other family members next time.

Value for money when on special, but still worth the full price.
