Location was perfect, out of the hustle and bustle yet close to the city. Our room was great, I have 4 kids so it was really nice that there were 4 beds in arms reach of each other upstairs of the apartment which meant our children were together (I prefer this than them being scattered throughout an accommodation), beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay.

The sliding door didn’t lock barely holding with the bolt lock, we had to sleep with the door barricaded as I felt very unsafe and vulnerable - it was late at night when we checked in and after 9.30 when we noticed this however the next day I alerted them of the issue and they had the locks replaced and secured before we came back after our day out (also upon departure they gave us a 50% refund, they were so nice and really looked after us! I cannot explain enough just how hospitable the staff especially the manager she went above and beyond to put that issue right and make up for that issue).

Traveling with 3 children has its own challenges, so having a friendly face from check-in to check out and there to help throughout the stay was a breath of fresh air. Exceptional customer service! Our room was two bedrooms with a TV in each, with sky TV so both age groups were entertained so I could have a break in between travel. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and as well as having a shower and toilet downstairs, there was a large and well maintained spa bath with excellent water pressure, unlike others we have stayed at where it takes half the night to fill. The older kids loved sitting on the BBQ table outside in the evening overlooking the lit up motorway, which, surprisingly, although close, didn't create any noise in our room. Overall, we had a great stay, no complaints, and would definitely stay again.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It met all our expectations and was also spacious. Check in and check out was easy with friendly staff. The location was easy to get to and close to the motorway. It's not a fancy place but was really good value for a family of 5.

The only issue was that we came back to the room one day and the cleaners had left the ranch slider wide open. There were signs everywhere saying not to leave valuables in your car so we had left our tablet and electronic stuff in the room - so this was really poor security. Luckily nothing was missing though!

The menu was simple and excellent. They need to ge a bar t license to serve alcohol and open restaurant to public room's abit out dated, especially the kitchenette. Uodate the stove and inside of kitchen cupboards need refurbishing toilet area needs to have a fan extractor. Staff are awesome and cater to your needs. Location of accommodation is handy to city airport and local supermarkets. Over it was an excellent and pleasant stay. Having to go home back to Perth CLM was hone to us

The motel is certainly the most convenient for access to and from the Ferries. Plenty of easy onsite parking. We arrived hours before booking in time owing to the Interislander Ferry booking us on to an early morning ferry because of breakdowns, the staff, the receptionist and cleaning staff made sure we were welcome and the room was ready. There is plenty of onsite easy access parking. The room service for meals was very good. Apart from inconsiderate truck drivers a real haven after a very stressful few days.

Double glazing on the windows facing the motorway is REALLY needed, the lack of it is disapointing, also there should be a ban on truck drivers using their airbrakes not just because of the motel but for the sake of all residents in the area.

Liked the homely feel to it. Easy to get on and off the motorway too. Room was cleaned daily. They adjusted my check in time so I could attend graduation on time and get ready in my room. Very flexible and understanding. Wasn’t even charged more for doing so!

With the motorway being so close the vehicles disrupted sleep. But that’s okay. Not a big deal and it’s worth it. No filtered water in the room. But we bought water so it’s okay. I didn’t ask if there was filtered water available either though.

We were in town for a concert at sky stadium and the lovely receptionist told us that we could catch the bus to town as there was a handy bus stop right across the road. She told us which 3 buses stopped there and how to find the routes online. The upstairs room we booked was spacious, comfortable and very clean with a pretty view from the deck. The room was so quiet despite being so close to the motorway, and having people staying in the neighbouring rooms. The cleaners were super friendly too. Everyone was smiling and it was a pleasure to stay at Capital Lodge Motor Inn.

A detachable shower head would be the only improvement I could possibly suggest lol. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

I have to say that I've never dealt with such genuine kind and caring people. I'm unsure if she was owner or the manager woman who dealt with us and an issue that arose that caused us to move rooms was just amazing. So kind and humble.she made sure we were happy and comfortable. Even the cleaning staff had a smile for everyone. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us :)

The location was very convenient, staff were warm and welcoming, they were super helpful when we needed anything. The room was spacious for a family of four and kids loved having their own space upstairs. The shower had good pressure.

It is a little bit noisy at the first block, but once we moved to the second block it was much better.
