Excellent staff are professional, friendly and genuine. Comfortable beds, well-maintained rooms (clean, tidy). Convenient traveling to and from the city, local supermarket, cafes, etc within a 15-20 minute stroll. Particularly liked being close to the beach and public transport.

I loved the beds, but they run medium-soft, so that might be an issue for some. No AC, but heaters and fans are provided (check cupboards for the latter).

I have stayed here before, It has a very good location. It is close to Jackson St, the main shopping centre of Petone. There are two supermarkets Countdown and Pak N'Sav, Many places to eat in or get takeaways. It's on the Esplanade and just across from the beach and a park. Free car parking is provided. Free WiFi. Easy access to Wellington's motorway system. Happy to stay again,

Not a biggie, but the decor is a little dated, Run the shower for a while to get the hot water running. It took me a while to be sure where to rotate the water temperature dial because of this delay. Soundproofing between units is OK but could hear louder noises from the next unit.

83 by the sea is a convenient location for an overnight stay. Handy to Petony bars and restaurants. Free off street parking. And quick easy drive to catch an early ferry. Comfortable room with all the amenities.

Busy road at the front of the motel means heavy traffic out front. We parked up and walked from our unit for dinner so not really an issue.

Great location opposite the boardwalk and proximity to main street and eateries. Comfortable room with all we needed for an overnight stay. Easy to drive back to Wellington after turning around further down the road.

A busy road at peak times but noise did die down later at night. If noise affects your sleep then book a back unit.

Room was very clean and very roomy. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice view of the sea from our room. Overall happy with our stay.

Kitchen area a little small but manageable, bathroom was old style with shower curtain, needs modernising. Motel grounds could do with a good clean ( paper etc in fenced in garden area near wooden stairs)

Exceptionally comfortable bed ! Close to Jackson Street and bus stops etc.

Kitchenette was too small for a 4 night stay and the water pressure in the shower needs attention. Lucky I have very short hair!!

Cosy spot and close to everything you need. Small but plenty of room. Bathroom was very clean.

Maybe a small fan could be installed as it can get a little stuffy on really hot/muggy days.

Quiet location and well equipped kitchen area. Perfect arrangement for single night stays while traveling by car.

Our room could have used air conditioning, a feature not available in this property.

It was very clean, everything that was needed was there, not like a big flash hotel but definitely great value for money and really accomodating, let us check in early and really easy checkout for after hours checkout and also great parking

Clean, modern feeling room. Great location couple minute walk to shops . No Aircon so was a little bit hot upstairs but there was an open window and having the door open let in the sea breeze
