I had a fantastic stay at this motel. The unit was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and high-quality linen that made for a great night’s sleep. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed, and the bathroom was equally comfortable and clean. Everything was spotless and clearly very well maintained. Daily servicing of the unit was done with care and attention to detail. The location was another bonus – not too far from the museum, other key attractions in Wellington, and a wide variety of great restaurants. I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city.

The location of this property is great! But I really like staying here mostly because there are very few motels in Wellington city that have free carparking and this one does.

I've stayed in a few different rooms here as I've stayed here alot but this time I was in Unit 37 and the bed was really uncomfortable. There were also a few lights that didn't work in the unit either. We had some high winds that evening and the roof covering the deck outside of the unit isn't secure and it rattled and banged all night long. Maybe just repair things around the place...........it's just minor upkeeping that hasn't been done.

The staff at the property are amazing. We booked one room between five of us and we then realised this would be a little tight, they were happy to offer us two rooms for the same price as the one big one. They also were really happy to facilitate early check-in and store out luggage for our afternoon flight. Honestly, they could not have been more helpful and we were all really impressed. Aside from the staff, the properties are excellent value for money, there's good cooking facilities, very comfy beds and good showers. Also has coin operated laundry facilities wash and dry. It was a good location, about 15 min walk into CBD or 15 min walk to Mt Victoria. Ample car parking spaces too.

We wanted accommodation with on site car parking and where we could walk to TSB Arena and Te Papa, both on the waterfront. Apollo Lodge is at the bottom of Margoribanks Street so you don’t have the hill to climb. There is a dairy opposite and about 4 restaurants on the way down to Courtney Place. It was very clean and has a small basic kitchen with fridge, microwave and toaster. It suited us fine and we’d recommend….. and we’d use it again

Not a problem for us but noisy neighbours could be as some units are double storey. We did hear people going up and down stairs as we were on ground floor but everyone very respectful while we were there.

Easy, convenient location short walk to great restaurants,city, waterfront etc. Short drive to Wellington Zoo, Te papa museum, Cable car can easily walk from location to location. Our room was clean&tidy upon arrival it incl kichenette & ensuite in bedroom which had all basic amneties which worked great for all 5 of us, 3 adults, 2 kids. Room service was attentive when required. Reasonably priced, Overall great stay. NOTE: This Motel offers Free guest parking! huge bonus for this location as it is very hard to find free parking in the area as you have to pay for parking in most locations especially the City.

Sofa-bed mattress was very thin you can feel springs and frame could have been a thicker foam however the overall usage of the couch was comfy, room decor could do with an upgrade. The room door upon entry could do with a latch on the outside to hold it open as it just swings hard to close it did have a manual door stop but most times opening the door was not for all easy to access.

Only stay for 1 night but amenities were clean and tidy. And staff were friendly..Location is perfect to a large range of restaurants. Overall was a good stay

Parking is very limited but this was mentionedon the website. We were in a terrace unit, and there may have been children upstairs as some noise and running could be heard from our room, but not too unbearable . Also someone tried to open our door early in the evening, perhaps thinking it was their room? Thankfully the door was locked.

An excellent second stay, and I will return to stay again. I was welcomed in a friendly manner when I arrived and the heater was already turned on in my room, which I really appreciated on a cold winter's night. The car parking has improved ten fold with the addition of painted car park spaces. My room and ensuite were spotlessly clean and my bed was comfortable. Highly recommend this accommodation!!

Room exceeded expectations. The rooms with high ceilings (#38) were light and airy and spacious. Late check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Off-street parking was excellent and location ideal for exploring the city on foot. Recent upgrades apparent and appreciated. Quiet location even though CBD. Ability to use carparks across the two sites was added advantage.

Nothing problematic at al. Only thing we noticed is that the doors/windows are not airtight b/c are wooden, but not a problem or concern for us.

For a start the location was excellent for us, due to arriving by car. It was easy to find and easy to park in the plentiful spaces. Our room was as advertised, right down to the room number on the photo! Very rare to see this (what you see is what you get). The room was a good size (we had the deluxe queen room), tele was good enough for one night (internet lag was terrible so didn't get to see a movie or stay logged in). The room was mostly clean (some places needed a better dust), the bed was very comfy. The layout of the room is great - open storage is very sensible - no need for drawers when travelling - just hangers and in view - which is what this room had. Comfy chairs (fabric would have been warmer than the faux leather). Well equipped kitchen for one night, clean bedding. Shower was good, bathroom a good size.

A small bugbear - not sure why toilet roll holders are put 'behind' the toilet - very hard to reach back and grab what you need - please put this in front to the left of the heated towel rail or on the right where the sink is - not everyone is agile enough for this position. Internet lag is bad - couldn't get a whole movie in - screen kept freezing and not doing anything. Gave up and played cards instead.

Clean tidy accommodation in a pleasant quiet environment. Friendly helpful staff were wonderful. I will definitely stay here again!

The parking situation was dire, although this was more the problem caused by car owners than by the accommodation. However this accommodation could help the situation by having assigned parks and taking number plates at check in so they can tell car owners to move when they park where they know they should not park.
