We were greeted by a helpful, happy woman and check in was a quick and simple process. Our room was alot bigger than we had expected. It was clean and very comfortable. The bedroom was separated from the living area of the unit by a room dividing wall. The spacious bathroom was a little dated but it was well maintained and very clean. In addition to tea and coffee facilities, the kitchenette also had a good sized fridge under the bench, a microwave, toaster, plates, cups, cutlery and a coffee plunge. We stayed for two nights and we were pleasantly surprised to come back to a serviced room, as we usually only experience that at hotel accommodation. Location was perfect for us. It was walking distance from the city so we didn’t need to drive and find/pay for parking, but far enough out to avoid the noise and hustle of city. Overall the room was spacious, clean, had great amenities and an excellent location. We definitely recommend and would stay here again next time we visit Wellington.

We were in a downstairs unit and we noticed a little noise from the unit above us. The only improvement suggestion we have is to replace the front sliding door drape as it let a lot of light through in the morning. We are morning people so this wasn’t a problem for us but it could be for others.

Room was perfectly well-appointed and I was a late (10-11pm) check-in, but the staff member was waiting for me. Everything was clean and well looked after.

I wasn’t given the wifi password, which could have been written on the note wrapped around my key. The parking was a bit awkward for my vehicle (a Hilux ute), but it was close to my room. I was partially blocking the vehicle of another guest so was expecting to be asked to move it at any moment. I noted that there were 2 trade vans for the same company parked in the car park, which were still there at 10am the following day, when I would have expected them to be working - were they guests or just using the parks?

Extremely great value for money. Good central location, easy drive to Zealandia Sanctuary or Picton Ferry. You can also walk to the War memorial. Plenty of parking on site as to be expected, parking was free. Room is decent size with two beds. Kitchenette had a toaster, fridge and jug, plus cutlery and plates. Everything was clean. Overall, very positive stay.

Carpets could use a little cleaning and some things are a bit tired. But nothing dramatic, so wouldn't complain.

We booked last minute with only one unit remaining and unit 8 was comfortable and modern enough. The ensuite was nice and newish with good pressure in the shower. Parking was good , we managed an under cover spot. Appointed with everything needed. The $ value was appropriate.

An observation more than a dislike . Our particular room was located on the corner of the building and these units come with a sliding door as the only room entry and was located on the main walkway to other rooms and also next to the laundry room so traffic had to walk by and on the other side wall was the upstairs stairway that backed onto the ensuite/toilet window/wall so privacy felt intruded on at times during showering or toilet use because the window couldn’t remain open for ventilation, but we managed ok .

Parking was available ..have read reviews where sometimes it wasnt..condensation in the winter could use a dehumidifier...good heating although the weather wasnt that chilly, winter had not kicked in yet...No milk on arrival...bit of noise coming from person in another residence close by...beyond their control....other than that a good stay.....not sure what the sad face icon is all about..good accomodation...nice staff..easy to find...would stay again .Thank you. :-)

Pretty central, electric blanket, wall heater, kitchenette with mini-fridge, toaster, plunger coffee, etc, although only one small sink in the bathroom. Wheelchair access on bottom floors but bathroom not wheelchair accessible, reasonably old decor & not luxury accommodation, but pretty darn good for the price, & has everything needed. The carparking is extremely useful, especially in central Poneke. Amazingly quiet without road-side noise audible in the rooms.

One sink isn't ideal & the decor is a bit old-fashioned, but it is pretty fantastic overall.

Room was comfortable beds where okay . Off street parking was/is a premium.But they made room for our Vehicle so it was off the street , Excellent. They allowed us a late check in at 10:30 pm , so i appreciate that . all said and done this place is value for money and makes catching the ferry's etc real easy . plenty of things close by to walk to and check out. we will happly use again next time, THANK YOU .

The pillows where very soft (too soft) , Got woken early in the morning as a Group of Motor Cyclists geared up and packed up, Started and warmed there Noisy bikes right outside our room, not cool swearing at each other etc

Convenient to Wellington hospital (walking distance) and supermarket, Basin Reserve for cricket matches and close to CBD. 10 minutes to ferry terminal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well equipped and serviced

Not enough car parking at times. Our room was very clean and well serviced by staff but looking tired, especially the bathroom

I like how it was centrally located and close with a lot of essential places like restaurants and shopping centres. I also like how comfortable it was and well equiped.

I didn’t like one thing only - bathroom door not having a lock or a latch. So when someone is using the toilet, the door is not locked and anyone could just open it. No privacy when using the bathroom/toilet

Location was perfect as I was attending a conference at the Massey University. The motel is clean, excellent service with cleaning every day and easy to deal with front of house who was very kind to me.

I could not find a hair dryer. The wifi was not good in the evenings. No fan in the ensuite.
