The room was great with amazing views. We were lucky enough to be upgraded. Pool was neat as it hung over the road, and you could see through it. Loved the gym as well. Close to town so we could walk most places.

We were there 4 nights, and our room was not cleaned once. The cleaner came on day 4, but we asked him to come back as we were still getting ready - he did not come back, very disappointing. Tiolet seat was not comfortable, and tiolet paper was rubbish. This needs to be upgraded.

2 Bdr apartment with kitchen, clean with a great kitchen and bathroom. Fairly dark and did not get a lot of natural daylight. The location is handy for walking to Cuba Street, downtown and the harbour. Lots of nice places to eat and plenty of mini marts for those essentials. The ninth floor has a gym and pool which are out of order which was a shame as the use of a gym would have boosted my score.

There were a few street dwellers not far from the apartment who pretty much keep to themselves however create an awful smelly mess where they are situated, which makes it fairly unpleasant to walk past.

We first stayed here eleven years ago and had no hesitation in returning. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the sofa which was well used and not very good for our old backs. The main reason that we booked was knowing that there was a washing machine which meant that we could travel light and not have to take lots of clothes with us. Ideally situated for just a ten minute walk from the Basin Reserve cricket ground. So many places to eat nearby and the New World supermarket ten minutes away too. It is easily walkable to the opposite end of town to get the cable car up to the botanic gardens.

A newer, more comfortable sofa. We stayed for seven nights and had to ask for our bin to be emptied. We thought that housekeeping would have had a run round with a vacuum cleaner whilst they were in but this was not the case.

Great location for access to Te Papa and Cuba St areas. Only a couple of minutes from the AirPort Express bus stop. Pleasant room with good kitchen facilities.

The room is not well ventilated, the only option being the large sliding door onto the small balcony, and even with that open at night and the cheap freestanding fan on it was still stuffy and over warm at night. In fairness we had exceptionally good weather for our stay. The good facilities were let down a little by details such as the minimalist approach to cutlery and crockery provision. The double room literally had two of everything, so every item had to be hand washed immediately for re-use, rendering the dishwashing machine redundant unless you’re prepared to wait a full cycle before your second hot drink!

We loved our stay. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean in our apartment. On reception, Christian was so welcoming and always so courteous with a lovely smile. A bit of a bind having to evaluate the building in the middle of the night on our last night, particularly when we had an early start the next morning but this was only showing that this establishment takes health and safety very seriously and gave clear instructions to evacuate the building. Keeping us all safe if there was a genuine emergency. Thank you to the Tory apartments for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable xxx ❤️

The location was amazing and was very close to everything I hoped to do. The proximity to Te Papa, the waterfront, Cuba Street, Lambton Quay, the Cable Car & then continue on to the Bee Hive, the beautiful train station & a collection of historic Parliamentary buildings are all worth the walk, as is the prolific artwork all through the city and waterfront and some beautiful architecture. Add in Oriental Bay or a good walk up Mount Victoria. Plenty of opportunities to stop for coffee or numerous food options. The location was perfect for me. Also the apartments had a snazzy little button on the check in counter & if you press it a taxi arrives within 5 minutes .... well I tried it and it was more like 2 epic .... ps $50 ish each way to Wellington Airport.

Was very disappointed that Pool & Gym were unavailable. I would normally expect a discount for this. No locks on either of the bathrooms was extremely annoying when there are multiple people in the apartment. The Spa Bath was lovely for the first bath but after the second bath it started to produce scum around the bath which was very unpleasant. The curtain in the top bedroom was difficult to open and close. It would be great to have a recycle bin in the apartment.

Excellent location, great price for the location and facilities. Loved that we had a place to park the car and it was close by. We brought my elderly father on our trip and he was able to navigate the building and car park just fine.

We were a little disappointed at how cold the pool was. It didn't ruin our stay but we were looking forward to a soak after walking around all day, but the gym/pool room was so frigid when we went up there. A resident told us that it is usually warm though.

Excellent location. The size of the apartment was great (3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms) with a good layout, high quality finishings and well equipped kitchen and stunning city and harbour views. It was also very clean. This is one of the few 3 bedroom apartments I found available in the central city. Absolutely lovely staff on the front desk, only to happy to help. Car parking right next door. Lots of good eateries nearby. Easy to get to the hotel and convenient with the super market straight over the road. I would happily stay again.

Small things really. A Broken Hair Dryer, Empty Soap in the Shower, and the Wicker Furniture had no squabs so was not able to be used comfortably. Also, with 3 bedrooms the apartment can accommodate 6 people, but the dining table only seated 4. One couch in the lounge needed cleaning, it was very stained from use.

Brilliant accommodation in central location. Very comfortable and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and accommodating with our check in and out. The lap pool is on the 9th floor overlooking the street. The gym could do with upgrading but was OK for the odd session. Really wish we could have stayed longer. The garage next door is very handy. However if you arrive late then make sure you get a code for the parking garage. The apartment we stayed in was a 3 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms, one with a spa bath. The staff split one of the double beds into 2 singles to accommodate my children.
