Great, clean rooms with everything we needed for a short stay. The hotel is in a great location, up Cuba St, with plenty to do nearby and some great restaurants and bars. The beds, bedding and pillows were especially comfortable, and we loved the blackout curtains. We would happily stay here again.

For some rooms, you take the elevator and there are still stairs to get up/down to your room - just be aware if you have lots of luggage. The shower pressure was also not great, and some of the windows have a film/material on them which make them a little opaque (making it a little difficult to see the view).

We were upgraded to a better room but there was a cost. We asked for an extra hour to check out and they didn't charge me.And we only gave them 30 min notice before Checkout. They have jar of sweets to have. We were allowed to leave out bags in their storage for no charge.

Booking .com needs to make sure they get the right room photos to the room they show. So thus is a criticism to booking .com for having the wrong photos to the room advertised as it cost us extra 100 per night upgrade to the rooms we presume we had paid for.. get it right booking. Com!!

Very comfortable bed, lovely decor, excellent location.

We were ordering some drinks in the downstairs bar on Thursday evening, just after 9pm. A nearby sign indicated that from Monday to Thursday, between 9pm to 10pm, it is happy hour with a number of drinks being discounted and also the oysters being offered at $3 each. Given that we met the timing criteria of this happy hour, we asked to order some oysters. However, we were told that the oysters were at full price, not at the $3 discount as indicated by the sign. Perhaps the staff needed to be reminded, or the sign needs to be updated if this happy hour offer is no longer available. Also, the insulation between our hotel room and the surrounding hotel rooms was very poor. We could hear the conversations of our neighbours with little difficulty.

The hotel staff on the second day of my stay was just fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and even found a portable desk for me to use during my stay so I can work from my room. Decor throughout the hotel and the rooms are very cool and quirky, especially the dining areas. Breakfast was so good too with really decent coffee (machine coffee but it was pretty good!) and great selection - pancakes with syrup for breakfast! Location is perfect too, it’s right at the heart of Cuba St and surrounded by so many eateries, shopping, etc. Would stay again.

I arrived in Wellington in the early hours of the morning, so I wanted to leave my luggage at the property. This proved to be more of a lengthy process than I anticipated, which wasn’t a great start to the trip. Probably a good idea to advise staff the importance of security around luggage being left in the storeroom - always give them a tag that they can write their name and contact number and then give them the bottom copy of the tag with the identifying number, so you can correctly identify who is picking up which luggage and when rather than just opening up the storeroom and not monitoring who takes what.

Beautiful hotel in a great central location. The breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and the bed was super comfy! All the staff were really friendly and helpful. I also liked the self check-in machines, they were easy to use and even showed upgrade options, which was a nice touch.

I know it’s been mentioned before, but the photos do make the rooms look a lot bigger than they actually are. I’m glad I went with an upgraded room, though I was still a bit surprised by how compact it was. It worked well for a one-night stay, but if I were staying longer, I think I’d want a bit more space to feel comfortable.

The beds were so comfortable!!! We had a Zest Queen room which came with a coffee machine and pods which was great. The rooms aren't huge but well thought out using mirrors to help them feel bigger and there was a lot of space to store our suitcases under the bed. This hotel is in a great location in the city and the decor is fresh and fun! There was complimentary sweets available, fantastic staff, elevator was handy since we were on the 3rd floor. Enjoyed a swim in the pool after a big day of walking.

We were not aware the spa pool was under maintenance until we got there. Not a big deal but the coffee pod machine does not have a milk warmer or frother with it.

Funky Hotel in a great location for exploring town. Everything is walkable. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Parking isn’t as bad as some of the reviews make out. There is limited parking at the hotel but if that’s full then there is loads around. All around $35 for the night and into the morning. We parked at Knigges Ave. There’s a loading bay to get rid of luggage before parking. The street parking is also free between 17:00 and 08:00 and there is some right outside the hotel.

The cleaning wasn’t bad but could have been better. On the second day we found rubbish under the bed from previous guests. This would have been after the room had been cleaned twice.

an excellent location, the rooms and decor were amazing. The bed it's self in the studio could be better with two people in the bed and no real side support left you feeling like you could roll out. The high tea was excellent too. Bar staff were also very friendly. We didn't have breakfast there as there are lots of other options in Cuba Street that we wanted to try. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Our new favourite hotel in Wellington!

The bed in the studio room needs a more supportive mattress and also the tap check in and check out screens feel a bit like your going to McDonalds. Having person check you in and out is much better than being told to self check-in.

The location is great, we could walk almost everywhere we needed to go. Huge smart TV which is always a bonus.

We didn’t realise Naumi is actually two quite different properties - Naumi Studio and Naumi Hotel. We originally booked a room in the studio side but upon seeing our room I decided it was too small for us, plus it was extremely hot and didn’t have air conditioning. We decided to pay an extra $80 a night to upgrade to the hotel side. And it was well worth it, we ended up in a huge corner suite (with air conditioning, actually surprisingly necessary at times in Wellington). The bathroom in both rooms were absolutely tiny though.

Cute funky room & hotel. Nice to stay somewhere a little different . Location was great. Bed was comfortable with good quality linen. The free lollies at the front desk was a cute idea.

Previous person’s razor was still in the shower.. Like most hotels, a little noisy. We could hear the glass recycling bottles being emptied into bins at all hours of the night on the street. Bathroom was a little small, but does the job. Paid for onsite parking at $35 a night ( had a hire car so wanted it to be secure) , a reduction for the 4 nights would having been amazing..
