great value central city on bus route to airport with airport express bus and railway station....free wifi netflix you tube....fridge in room...communal kitchen with microwave and stove with table chairs and couch...choice of type of room single twin family....some with own shower toilet some not but shared nearby

can be noisy if neighbor in next room so ask for another room if possible to get quieter room away from communal kitchen area with extra hallway doors to close to keep noise lower acceptance level

Don’t read all the crying baby europeans reviews. This place is great! Dude, you’re paying the cheapest private room in all NZ and it’s located in the very heart of the very capital of the country, what do you expect? I mean, I had a private bathroom; clean sheets and towels; shampoo, conditioner and soap; kitchennete; Wifi and Netflix, c’mon! I litteraly paid unpowered campsites more expensive in the south island. Of course everything it’s a bit weird, walls are paper thin, there’s not much ventilation, cleaning is average, and you can hear the water running through the pipes, but just got what you pay for. My main concern was if it was safe and I really felt safe, own keys and every space can be locked in. Maybe the experience varies depending on the other guests, but it’s all good mate, go for it. Or pay double for a shared room with 10 random people in a hostel.

Many things can improve, but can’t ask for more really

I liked the location of the hotel. Transportation and shopping are convenient .

What I didn't like is that one of the room 3 in N block there was no mirror, and a friend of mine need to use ours in room 4. Cooking stove needs to be changed, appears rusty and dirty and it was not working on our last day at the hotel. Need to fry egg we waited for hrs to get it on.Microwave needs to be cleaned after use Putting notice near the microwave, cleaned after use and washing detergent and sponge not available. There was one but it's worn-out. NO TEA TOWELS. Thanks

No tv1 tv2 tv3 or sky channels so take own personal laptop to watch using free wifi so then watching 2 channels at same time, no radio so bring own

Great value rates on main bus route...lots of nearby takeaway shops and restaurants to choose from with night n day shops open till late with hot food......main kitchen area has microwave to heat food.... good security with locked doors use keys and scanner to get in.... free wifi

No main tv channels tv1 tv2 tv3 so need laptop to tune in...only netflx but need account to log in which some people do not have and you tube if it works....no radio so bring your own to listen to with talkback and music

I love the central location and how this once department store has been converted and it's minimalist style

Strong smell in kitchen on my second stay I turned on the range and someone opened the fire door to help vent it. There was no wardrobe or pulldown clothe rail to hang my clothes on. And no bag stand to place my bag separately off the bed. The coffee cups were both stained I needed to clean prior to use. Also fridge was iced up so I defrosted for efficient cooling. Phone customer service was very poor to check booking and changes as per web sight directions I believe this has been now sorted.

thought the location was good and the price worked really well for a couple of students.

bed wasn’t the most comfortable, was good for the night but pillows ended up hurting my neck. didn’t enjoy the no windows when waking up however felt disoriented but that’s a personal feeling. check out was 10:00am for email, however had our door knocked on by a lady at 9:40am wondering when we were handing over keys because reception needed them. felt a bit rude but it was fine as we were already getting ready to leave.

Good location, central area. Key fob given to you to access the hotel our of hours. Different blocked areas with shared kitchen and bathroom areas. Fridge and freezers. Small comfy bed. Felt safe. Women on reception very kind and let me check in early even though the room wasn't clean, she allowed me to drop my bags in there. Also helped me find a bottle opener from a shop a few doors down, that I wouldn't have found otherwise. Great spot, opposite taco bell in wellington.

I only made the booking for my cousin and granddaughter who had to attend a hearing in Wellington the feed back I got from them was good good location to where they needed to go close to where my niece was who stays in transitional emergency housing . They said the staff were awesome and very helpful
