Well equipped apartment. I used the microwave, kettle, toaster, refrigerator, and coffee machine. There were plenty of dishes for me. I didn't use the stove nor the pots (3) nor the fry pan. One little issue was that the full sized plates won't work in the microwave, but the "bread plates" worked fine. I was in 1008 and it was quiet. The view was mostly of an empty apartment block out back, but it was nice as no one could easily look into my room - ie, privacy, which can be rare in Wellington. There was a windows that opened. There was a pedestal fan and column heater. The shower water pressure was great.

There was a SMALL amount of water pipe sound from above coming through the wall between the kitchen and bedroom. It was very infrequent and brief. The dishwasher drawer was noisy when it was running. The bathroom was compact but usable for one person at a time. The shower was compact but roomy enough to wash my hair without my elbows bumping the sides.

Uni student daughter moving in at Capital Hall. I was grateful for the across the road convenience . Boy was i thrilled to have a truly self contained apartment. The extras you get, laundry powder, quality excess amounts of bathroom products, high end coffee tea and that bed is pillow soft. Spotless clean, greeted with smiles from cleaners and reception. I also had a teeny accident with a bean bag we brought. I requested a vaccuum and they were absolutely willing to clean it but i insisted. Reception willingly printed a stat dec - no charge. I loved it. Tried to extend stay but all booked out and this is why! Had to stay at the mercure and well not even close.

The apt is new, super clean and right at a footstep of all major attractions and shops.

There was a little confusion during my late check-in as I received a key from another room where a couple was already checked in earlier that day. Luckly they were not there when I opened the door. I called management and promptly they sent the security guy to assist me and allocate me to another room. I was upgraded and next day a received a lovely apologies note from the manager along with Chocolates and a wine. At the end everything worked out. However, I have to say being a foreigner arriving after 28h flight it was a bit of a wrestle to connect with management as there is no wifi signs for easy access or a phone available at the reception. Luckily my foreign sim card worked at 1am.

Clean, well appointed apartment with all amenities, including Washer/Dryer which was great for me as I was there to compete in paddle sport. Fantastic central location, easy walk to the waterfront and local shopping in Willis Street. Nice friendly staff on arrival and quick check in. Secure location too with lobby being locked after hours. Metro supermarket 3 mins down the road.

I was a not expecting to be put into the accessible apartment which made us feel uncomfortable that we were taking a space that could be utilised by someone in need. All the benches were low and the shower was below chest height for me at 6ft tall. A bit disappointing but didn't affect our stay too much in the end.

One little thing... not a major thing... I moved out of my room, at 9.45am, before 10 am. I asked the staff if I could leave my bags there until I pick it up after 11am.... because my flight is at 12.20pm Staff won't be at the front bench from 10.30am to 12.30pm. They gave me 0800 50 80 25 to phone it, to come down... The problem is... I was born deaf, I speak and heard well, but not over the phone, other customers say " text message will do?" I presume the front bench staff don't have a "work-mobile phone" So I carried with my small (under 7kg) bag and laptop bag with me, for the whole morning... (that's ok for me...) So, I guess you need someone at the front bench full time, during the day... or get a work-mobile phone only, whoever on duty.. Your front bench staff are wonderful. I enjoyed my stay. Not major again.... need bigger milk for 2 people plus need more sugar bags, there were only 4 or 5... for us a cup of tea...

A spacious apartment equipped with all of the essential kitchen facilities. I typically stay here when in Wellington for business and have always found the apartments to be comfortable and warm. I was glad to find a fan in the room as Wellington was particularly warm during this visit. I really appreciate that there's a washing machine and dryer available for guests. This time I stayed in an apartment facing the street, which was a bit noisier than previous stays since I usually stay in one at the back of the hotel. The staff were, as always, very helpful and friendly, and the bed very comfortable.

My only issue I encountered was that the rail at the back of the bathroom door was broken, so I couldn't hang my wet towels there. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

Good location. In-room laundry. Kitchenette. Even had a dishwasher. Had written instructions on how to use the washing/drying machine and provided detergent. Nice pots for use on stovetop.

Bed was very soft (softer than we like). While room was big the bathroom was very tiny. Washing/drying machine instructions should be modified to include a few more details such as which of the three spots do you place the detergent. (We were told they get lots of questions on how to use the machine, so talk to your staff to see what needs to be added.) Would have like a folding luggage rack - - there was lots of room for one.

The location was great, the bed was comfortable, and (on a long road trip) it was great to have use of a washing machine drier ( beware the long running time and over- drying though. I had a heads up on this from other reviews). Everything was spotlessly clean.

We paid at the hotel to use the Wilson’s parking opposite, but when we got home we had received a parking fine from Wilson’s ( although we had not overstayed). This took me several phone calls and a couple of emails to sort out ( over a few days). I would happily have paid more to stay somewhere else to avoid this hassle.

Willis Street location is handy to shopping, public transport, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. I've stayed in the immediate location many times and once before at this hotel. Large spacious room with everything you needed, and a dishwasher and washing machine.

The kitchen offered 4 tins of different types of tea bags, and they were all mixed up throughout the 4 tins, which made it difficult to have the Breakfast tea. Apparently the tea bags in tins is part of a sustainability shift. I would prefer the correct tea in the correct tin, or the plain ole tea bag in an individual paper bag. Wifi dropped out a lot.

The location of the hotel is awesome, walking distance from everywhere and it was awesome to have a parking building right across the road. The room was bigger than I expected and everything was great, good shower pressure, I loved that there was a dishwasher and a washing machine! Bed was super comfy too! Also the reception staff were super helpful and made the check-in and check-out process super easy

There wasn't much that I didn't like, the only real thing was that there was no overhead lighting in the room so when it got to nighttime, the room was a bit dim. Other than that I had an excellent stay and will definitely be booking here again next time I come to Wellington!
