Friendly staff and room was excellent

Need to explain cost of parking in the Booking.Com site. We arrived early for Check In otherwise we would have missed out. Need to be able to book parking with room reservation.

We love the location, size and staff.

I don’t like that the TV is in the kitchen end and cannot be viewed from the bed. Also there was only one comfortable chair to watch the tv so my husband and I took turns.

The room is sparkly clean. Very spacious living area which is separated from the bedroom. Great location where is close to everything.

Can’t think of anything. However they don’t seem to have a room that fits 3 people which is a shame.

When I entered the hotel I was greeted by Hunter, he was absolutely amazing, friendly, happy, outgoing and anything we needed wasn’t a problem. The other staff were also good but Hunter greeted us everyday not only when we left but on our return, he gave us tips on where to go. He is a real Gem to the business. The room was a great size and had everything we needed including a few extras. Location was fantastic as we were close to everything including the Tennis courts as we were there for a tournament. There is a fantastic coffee shop in Able Smith st (number 40)t and just past the coffee shop is a supermarket (Fresh Choice) loads of cafes and restaurants as well. I would definitely stay again.

Good location, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Parking is availavble in a car lift system. This comes with restrictions in terms of vehicle dimensions and weight. We did not get this information in advance and had to look for overnight parking elsewhere..

The room is spacious and the staff are wonderful! Great location. Having a washing machine and a dryer was fantastic especially for people travelling for several months.

The parking was booked up so we had to park in the car park next door. Ridiculous set up, you can only pay for a certain amount of time and it's cctv monitored so you will probably be fined automatically if you go over, I had to wake up at 4am to add more time on and then had to top up again at 6pm. The pricing is all over the place also. I understand it's nothing to do with the hotel. Hence, I didn't deduct rating from this review, but it's just annoying and something people should be aware of.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Elevators were fast and spacious for multiple people. The bathroom mirrors had lights that were helpful. There was also a washer and dryer which I could find convenient if needed. The staff were friendly and kind.

The property was well maintained however I had a few irk (nothing super major or warranting of a lower score): 1. I had requested fresh linen and towels for the last night of the trip, but only the towels were provided - may have just missed this. 2. The air conditioner although functional and working well often had a mind of its own and would run colder than expected. 3. The body wash bottle wasn’t installed correctly and it fell the first time I went into the shower. 4. I wish there had been a sheer curtain inbetween the blackout curtains, so we could have some light but not super intense.

I had a late arrival in Wellington, however, Tino gave great and detailed instructions by email, also great responses. Hunter also gave a kind reply. I have to say that the desk staff of the Ramada by Wyndham Wellington Taranaki Street throughout my stay were really wonderful, nice, and also efficient, really top class. Thank you! The room was spacious and fully furnished with large fridge, microwave, and washing machine/dryer. I was on the last leg of a long trip, and this was so helpful! (One minor thing is that it might be good to have a simple rack to put things on. Well, that is a very minor point, overall this hotel was great. Also the large desk and chairs were very useful.) Rooms were also very clean and spacious. Taranaki Street is also convenient just a short walk straight down to Te Papa museum and the harbour. Also Moore Wilson's large supermarket nearby. Wellington has many nice restaurants and bars! I especially liked Coco's Bar and Grill near the harbour. Nice atmosphere and great food & drinks. I especially loved the apple spring roll dessert! Wonderful! The Ramada was nice I could move around conveniently.

Great apartment hotel accodomation in excellent location near Wellington City Center, Harbour etc. Very nice and comfortable beds, mostly very peaceful even its located on busy street. The personnel at reception are super nice and friendly and solved all things exellently.

The cleaning team does not always respect do not disturb signs. And the quality of cleaning is not always very good. Things have been forgot to leave to the room, and cleaning was done without vacuuming the floor. The cleaning team would need a proper education, as it is not up to other standards of this otherwise excellent hotel In studio for 2 people there is only 1 chair from where you can watch tv, and TV cannot be watched from bed. Would recommend one bedroom apartment which is a lot better in every way

The gentleman who checked us in alone was worth the money spent -- wonderful service, such a delight! Location is great, safe area and a quick walk to Cuba street and a bit further to get to the harbour. We were lucky to have a room tucked away in the back so it was very quiet; I think there could be ambient noise in street-facing apts since it's on a busy road. Loved having a washer and dryer, very handy for a long trip and the facilities are kept well and clean. We didn't have a car, but fyi there are stacked parking options (so you will need a narrow/smaller car to fit); otherwise you will need to do street/paid parking, which is ... less ideal.
