Great little place. Would stay again. Warm tidy everything your family needs. Shops and restaurants are right outside. Bus stop outside. Clean. Even had dishwasher tablets and washing powder.
Parking is a hassle. There is no parking on site or round the back. Can't park outside on the road or more than 2 hours, and this is $8. Parked in parking building called hope gibbons parking 68 Taranaki Street. This is a 4 mint walk, and if you download their app, you can request how long you want. This lest you come and go as many times a day while saving your park at a set rate you pay before you park. We paid $78 for 72 hours. It is so much cheaper than the $40 per day at the museum.

The facilities and location offered great value for money. Although there was a small miscommunication regarding an early check-in and an issue with my key not working, the matter was resolved promptly. I really appreciated the thoughtful apology note and sweet treats — a lovely gesture! Apologies if I was a bit of a handful, haha. The room was spacious and perfectly suited our strategic planning weekend. The balconies were a welcome bonus for some fresh air, and it was great to see small touches like washing machine powder provided. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Great location if your keen to eat out. Everything is in walking distance. Surprisingly quiet. The construction next door was fine and within council regs. Everything was clean with comfy beds. Kitchen is well enough equipped. Really nice to have full windows that open with the sun streaming in in the evening, very nice. Overall a great stay and we will be booking again.
The access is a bit tricky once through the door because the lift wouldnt stop on the floor we wanted and didnt light up. We just had to travel up and down before landing on 2nd floor. Once settled we used the back entrance which was convenient (as we were apartment 6) but couldnt get back in after 10pm but nothing in the comms stating that. No biggy. The skylight in the bedroom didnt shut out light (it was broken) so it was really bright (and annoying) in the morning when we wanted to sleep in.

Great location can't fault it really. Kids loved being right next door to a place that sells bubble tea. So many eateries, cafes, restaurants right at your door step! A short walk to New World, Te Papa and the waterfront. Great for anyone wanting to explore the CBD, great for especially families and those who want to be close to the night life but also enjoy a quite nights sleep. The room itself is away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD noise so you don't hear anything at night. A pity that there were major works happening next door as they were very noisy during the day and the scaffolding blocked our view on the deck but to be fair we were out and about alot so didnt affect us much. A comfortable stay for us and our two children. Plenty of space for us all to move around. To good sized rooms. Loved having a dryer and washing machine. The room could do with an oven tray or oven dish so you can actually cook in the oven.
The noise of the works next door can annoy some people. We didnt mind it as we spent most of the day out and about. Parking your car to offload your bags can be tricky too and you might need to do a couple laps around the block before th loading zone becomes available for you as its a busy area of town in the afternoons/evenings.

The location. The space in the apartment, excellent facilities/ kitchen, bathroom, towels etc We had a broken toaster and phoned reception to let them know. When we came back from Te Papa we had a brand new toaster in the kitchen. We were very impressed at the excellent service. Your receptionist was very easy to chat to and very helpful. I am 74 and my sister 66 so we were v grateful for all the kindnesses. Sorry no photos - no good at technology.

This place was awesome, and spacious loved that it was in the middle of everything as well. You will not regret staying here 100% worth it, I loved it. Loved the dryer and the washing machine in the bathroom!! Was an absolute life saver and the kitchen was nice. You have an awesome balcony area!
The only thing that I didn't like was the toilet lol maybe cause I'm fat but the space, it felt so tiny my arms was squeezing against the wall basically 😂 The bathroom is huge btw it's just in the room I was in the toilet was in a weird corner 😂

Stayed two nights. Loved the location. It was down the street from the St James theatre which we were going to on the Saturday night. There was convenient drop off parking outside the door of Courtenay Village, plus a parking payment console/kiosk a few metres from the door when we wanted to park for a while longer. A public toilet was in the close vicinity as well, and this turned out to be a bit of a god send after a long drive, having endured the slow stop-start crawl of 5:00pm Friday traffic, when we couldn't wait to get upstairs. Also, the bus stop was right outside the door which was a perfect surprise, as part of our stay included guests getting a bus to and from the apartment. There were plenty of take aways, bakeries, cafes and bars in close proximity as well as art and craft galleries and shops near by. It was a handy location to the waterfront and good varied shopping options were close by. Because these apartments are unmanned by staff, we made no face to face contact with anyone, but the receptionist I spoke to by phone was most helpful, friendly and able to explain the check in and check out procedures in simple detail, plus carried out my request regarding how I wanted the beds made up. I was reassured that if we had any problems or concerns pre-arrival or during our stay, help was only a phone call away. The code-opening pick up box outside the door was easy and convenient to get the "keys" and apartment instructions. Having two swipe cards was handy, allowing our group to split up and do separate things without having to rely on others to gain access to and from the apartment. There are both stairs and a lift The passage way to the apartments is easy but quaint, with slopes, changes in direction and fire doors adding interest to the journey to get to the apartment.
One bedroom had a skylight with the blind/curtain on it being a bit fidly and very slow to draw closed. In one of the other bedroom's the doorstop had a screw missing, and because it was attached to the wardrobe door, when that door was opened the doorstop scraped across the carpet making a scraping sound and feeling like you would just about tear the carpet up. We could hear water running at times, wasn't sure if it was something running into the roof or a neighbouring shower? Was a little bit disconcerting. These were fairly minor complaints though.

It was very clean and spacious .For our 2 night stay we were very happy with our room. The Four of us that stayed were well into our 80s. Haha the first night being Older we couldn’t find our room, but all got sorted out in the end.
We were in room 7. Only thing was shower rose we had to hang onto Rose to shower,it needs fixing for sure.As we didn’t realize, the first person to have a shower flooded the floor. It wouldn’t stay in the right position.Apart from that all good.

Convenient location. Clean and tidy facilities.
Only very small/insignificant things: the couch/chairs weren’t particularly comfortable - found ourselves lying on our beds rather than use the living space. Beds felt a little dated - bit of roll together but still managed a decent sleep. Smoke alarm in one bedroom started chirping early hours so had to be removed. As I said all insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Loved the central location, so many food outlets to choose from or 5-6 minute stroll to the nearest supermarket. Apartment is nice and cosy and definitely fitted the needs of what we needed for our 2 night stay for 3 adults.
Please check the hot water tap in bathroom as seems difficult to turn off. Also the couch not the most comfortable of couches could maybe be a sofa bed to utilise the space, however the beds in both rooms are quite comfortable!
