Really liked being just up the road from the motorway as it meant a quick trip into the city. Also loved that there was no issue with getting a carpark each time we came back and even better that parking was free!

Not a major but after our room had been cleaned we were missing towels and after asking for these it did take a while to receive them. This was only an inconvenience simply because we were wanting to get ready to head out to an event. Otherwise it would not have bothered us and we would've been happy to wait.

The room we had had 5 beds which was great for what we wanted It was very clean, had everything we needed, kids absolutely loved the shower Comfy beds and pillows Tv had good variety altho I think they should put TVNZ+ on there

The wifi took quite a bit of mucking around to work The queen bedroom basically was lit up all night by the lights outside so perhaps some blackout curtaining Otherwise a great stay Will definitely be our go to motel in Wellington

Motel was nice and clean, perfect amount of beds for 5, state of the art bathroom and the receptionist was very helpful, would definitely recommend staying here!

Wifi was a bit laggy and kept cutting out. Furthermore, the large double bed was a little too soft for my liking (almost sinking in) wish the matress was firmer like the singles, but overall very nice room.

We had an upgraded room upstairs that suited our needs, was clean and comfy. Nice bathroom and good shower facilities. Also enough space to park our large van in the parking area opposite our room.

Unfortunately, property (or at least our room) had no hot water Sunday morning due to a plumbing issue. Management had already called a plumber by the time I spoke to them and it was to be repaired that morning.

Very nicely renovated and clean, great to have 3 single beds in another room for our 3 kids. Not central but was great for overnight and early dash to the ferry. Also being able to park right out front room. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

A bit small for all 5 of us but perfect for overnight.

Was great! complimentary upgrade was superb. Nice quiet motel with comfortable beds and rooms! felt like we were at home and we would most likely stay again

we thought we saw a spa bath in the pictures online but maybe because we had an upgrade we did not get a spa bath in our room but it wasnt too much of an annoyance. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

For what we needed it was perfect, when we pulled up thought gosh have we made a good choice, but was glad we had booked there.

They neighbours sitting outside our room at 6am and having a man(loud) talk, even got out of bed to steer at them, they just carried on.

We did not have breakfast but the locations was perfect for the function we were attending in Porirua.

There are no improvements in my view, the host was courteous, friendly and very obliging. After a long 2 days attending a funeral at a marae in Porirua, we were to tired to travel back to Hamilton. We booked 10 minutes before booking in and are so thankful to Newlands Motel for a great night's rest for our trip the next day.

everything was good. we did request rooms to be close together but that was ok worked out good. we had a baby with us so they got the ground floor and we had the top floor rooms. so it was good for the baby and family to be close to the ground floor room.

Very cozy room, nice bathroom/shower and great sized beds. My carpark was right outside my room which was handy! I would highly recommend this place and definitely stay here again!!!

Nothing major but add another pillow please and more channels to the tv 🤣
