• Conveniently located across the road from Porirua town centre so only a few metres walk to restaurants, mall, supermarkets. • Beds & pillows are extremely comfortable. • Room is adequately spacious with a decent sized kitchen for small meal preparations. • Room service is everyday (including weekends & stat holidays). • parking space is reasonably big

• Plugs are strangely located at the base of the walls in the lounge & bedrooms. • No extractor fan in the bathroom but that's not a deal breaker.....it only means you leave the bathroom door open to air out the bathroom after a hot steaming shower. • could do with a slightly bigger fridge/freezer

Absolutely loved the bed, that mattress was so comfortable that it was the best sleep I have ever had and the shower was awesome. Also having the North City mall across the road was convenient, gas station across the road too, everything within walking distance.

I would've liked to stay longer, but as it was a long weekend the prices were rather expensive compared to the off season prices, I always wonder why, as nothing changes, no extra services etc, but I know every hotel does this. Also would've been nice to have some interaction with the owners/management and staff.

Location is good if you drive yourself. Room is good

Staff just had to say something about us parking our car in front of the entrance (not a parking space, not blocking any traffic, on the property) while there was a caravan with a trolley occupied about 5 slots. We tried to call after hour number but that number just didn’t work. Kept saying something like “you cannot park there, it’s not a parking space”. Kept telling us to park on the street is fine when there is a 15min limit sign.

You can't fault Amethyst Court Motor Lodge, excellent service, very clean, and the most comfortable bed, the location so close to everything in Porirua, the location for me personally was perfect as my partner is in ABI Rehabilitation center in Porirua it is only a 5min drive which is amazing for me to go see him I've already booked another stay this weekend with me kids so they can see their dad, I'll be using Amethyst Court Motor Lodge quite abit over the next few months

There was nothing I didn't like, everything was great

The room was spacious but it was really one certain housekeeper that made my stay exceptional. She was always polite and friendly toward my 3yr old, took the time to work around us when servicing the room

The walls are quite thin, I could hear the next room going toilet. The location isn't the best for those with no vehicle, it's a bit of a walk to get across safely unless you are willing to cross a busy road.

First impressions count, walking into reception we were hit with a very strong smell of curry, no lift meant the women had to carry their heavy suitcases upstairs, no offer of help. The room was comfortable but 3rd world with ripped curtains in one bedroom and the drapes were missing curtain hooks. The carpeted stairs did not appear to be vacummed at all over our 2 day stay.

Close to my Wellington office. Plunger coffee and biscuits are awesome and wee bottle of milk is generous.. Room made up after every night with fresh towels. Loads of parking. Mall across the road. Motorway on ramps are so close. Good price.

I miss my pillows from home. Detail clean - i pull the night stand out to plug in my phone charger, and the same pile of dust has been there for months

Lovely quiet room and was very spacious and comfortable

It was a dreadfully wet and rainy night. I somehow felt as though I was an inconvenience to the person who checked me in. Gave me my room key but didn't even bother to show me where room was located nor even suggest did I need help with luggage etc. Rude!!!! think those days have gone by the by...certainly not a helpful gentleman but of course gentleman a few and far between now days. Its common curtsey to ask if you need any help

Nice Accommodation very accessible

My daughter and I had resembled flea bites most likely due to staying in the beds. It was not a big deal but maybe somebody could check that out? Also, just a maintenance note, the showerhead is slightly cracked causing the water to slightly go in the wrong direction.

Hi, The room was nice and clean. The location was great as i was there for Badminton Nationals and within walking distance to the venue, but it did rain so one of the guys that also stayed there took me to the venue.

The room i was in, i saw the back fence not a very good view at all. Would have liked to see the roadside view but as i was only there to play Badminton, not very happy but can't complain with what i've been given.
