there was no breakfast. This question should NOT even be here as the motel hasn't done this since COVID. The refreshed surroundings were great. Perfectly suitable for a one night stay. Bed was comfy and enough bedding/linen etc. Staff were cheery and VERY chatty. I would return - perhaps try a non-studio room if there be one available when I book.

There were a few things I didn't like. Because of the fixed tap in the bathroom it was difficult to put the kettle under the tap. I hate having no water outside of the bathroom. I think it is somewhat unhygienic - admittedly a studio but still jars with me. The curtain for the shower flew around during the shower time and water saturated the mat. I would suggest a folder in each room with current local eateries, the procedure for returning the key, where to put dirty linen, wifi info (rather than taped to the TV), local emergency procedures. I know there is ongoing renos and I admire the work being done.

Excellent self contained motel units that cater well for a group. These are older style units so have plenty of space in living areas. It is often difficult to find multiple single beds, but Chanel Court provide units with single beds and queen size beds. Kitchen facilities that allow you to easily cook a main meal, and includes a full oven and microwave. Good bathroom facilities. Fast wifi. We had 2 rooms and there were beside each other which worked well. Our group have stayed here previously and would highly recommend Chanel Court for groups or families. Thanks

Room was clean. Motel was located in quiet street. Close to main street.

Room was very hot and only a small fan to cool down room was not able to put fan in sleeping area. Maybe a fan attached to wall would've worked to keep room cool overnight. Some of the cups needed washing before we were able to use them lipstick and coffee still on a couple of the cups when we went to have a coffee. No proper facility to wash dishes had to use sink in the bathroom to wash dishes.

When we arrived at the motel the owner was more than helpful and gave us some good advice on places to visit and train travel - treat for husband! The place was very clean and tidy and we were able to catch up on washing on site, a real bonus. Masterton is a lovely town, shops, beautiful parks and plenty of places to eat.

The location was great for the tennis tournament we went to. It was also good for nearby eateries, within walking distance. The place itself was quite roomy.

The shower pressure was low. The door to the bathroom was stiff so it made a noise to close it. If you have light sleepers it could wake them up.

Great location close to everything, nice big, open room. Good heating. Good kitchen facilities in room, you also get the option of milk with your stay which is appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

There was some visible mould around windows and bathroom.

Located conveniently just out of town but close enough to walk. Quiet area, felt very safe. Twin room was comfortable, Clean and tidy. Shower had wonderful hot water. Facilities were basic but sufficient. Onsite parking. Hostess was lovely. Will stay again.

The staff were lovely, the rooms we spacious and it was lovely actually getting a large bed to myself (having to share with my 10-year-old daughter on a 25-day trip for most of the time & She wriggles) Location was beautiful and quiet. Even when the poor truck driver had to book in last minute late at night because he couldnt get through due to slips etc, we hardly heard the truck, and we were in a unit facing the road. The breakfast was GREAT - was massive!!! To the point where we actually didnt end up using some of it. (3 females travelling- so much so, a hungry, physical hard-working person would probably think they're good. Would definitely stay again.

Would have liked a much softer mattress - they're very firm and I felt like I was sleeping on a wooden plank. Oh and warning that there was a dog on the property would also have been good. (I'm allergic, but have no problem taking my antihistamines, but my daughter is nervous around dogs)

Lovely staff. We stay at Chanel Court regularly, we always find them very accommodating. Rooms are spacious, had everything we needed. Parking right outside our room.

We stayed in a smaller studio this time (no children this time). Was very nice, just one very minor thing - there wasn't a power plug in the bathroom to use hairdryer or straightener. Not a biggie though.

Spacious unit, reasonable price, friendly staff. Nice chairs in a separate room from the bedroom. Extra single bed . Really nice towels!

The whole place seemed a bit tired. Everything was absolutely fine. Prefer a sink outside the bathroom.
