Excellent accommodation, peaceful, private, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Warm, with a heat pump and a gas fire. Gorgeous Ashley&Co toiletries provided. Lots of teas and coffee options provided. Staff were welcoming and professional. The continental breakfast was great, and if you wanted hot options, these were reasonably priced. Note that the restaurant is closed in winter, except for breakfast. Room service is very limited and quite expensive. The kitchenette in the unit is well-equipped for self-cooking simple meals, and the local supermarket is well-stocked if you arrive unprepared. Tirohana Vineyard & Restaurant offers a free pickup and drop-off service (book ahead), which we enjoyed on the 2nd night (a wonderful experience in itself!). There were no streaming services (e.g.Netflix) on the TV. But, there were seals at Cape Palliser! Overall, we had a very enjoyable, very relaxing and comfortable 2-night stay at Parehua resort in Martinborough, and we would definitely like to return there.

We liked everything. We could tell from the start that the priority of this place was to cater to the comfort of its guests. Just amazing. Unmatched. We are still trying to get over it. We weren't annoyed by anything. 😆 This place treats you how you would like to be treated. Exceptional. Our hats off to all staff members. This place is what hospitality is all about. Well done all. Keep up the great work! We can't wait to be back. On a side note, the cottages have a unique layout and a bonus is you can watch the same tv in the lounge or bedroom. Such a cool set up and unique views. The push button fireplace is wonderful too.

I really enjoyed my stay at Parehua. I had come down for the Featherston Book Festival and this was the perfect place to stay. The accommodation was very roomy, comfortable and warm. It had all the amenitiies I needed and was quiet and private. Parking was right outside the door. I also found the free breakfast very good - pastries, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereal and some great little overnight oats. You had to pay extra for coffee but there was a nespresso machine in the unit and free filter coffee at the breakfast so that didnt really matter.

If I was going to be really picky I would say the wifi was a bit flaky as it often dropped out, but that wasnt a big deal as I was out and about during the day.

A lovely, quiet setting and still close to the center of Martinborough. Villa had an outdoor patio for sitting outside and both a fire and heat pump for heating and cooling inside. Good kitchen setup with minibar, room service and restaurant dining available if required.

The only minor inconveniences were that it was difficult to turn the TV on and keep it switched on, not sure why? We couldn't start the fire, despite many attempts on a cold morning, and it was too early to be able to call staff for help. I feel that 8pm is a little early to end room service in the evenings, particularly when no one answers the phone after 7pm and you end up having to walk all the way to the restaurant to place your order - difficult when you are disabled. I also wished there was a little bit of shelter over the outdoor seating area. An umbrella is provided, but an awning or similar would be Really helpful.

The room was so lovely, so clean and the gas fireplace was a complete delight. Checkin was friendly, welcoming and flawless with all the key times and info highlighted. The heat pump for other times was great. Breakfast was generous and constantly refilled and the staff were attentive and efficient. We'll definitely be back.

I couldn't get the coffee machine to work - nearly did but kept getting a red light when I pushed the go button - not a biggie and had we been there longer I would have asked for help

We took our Granddaughters for 3 days we all loved it, we spent most of the time in the pool and hot tubs. Having the tennis court was great and the breakfasts were lovely

I didn't like the fact that when they debited my credit card 2 days before I arrived, they charged me a 2% pay wave fee. I don't believe this should have happened as the card was not used in a paywave situation I mentioned it but didn't get a satisfactory answer.

This resort was excellent! We were upgraded to a lakeside villa which was very nice, with a beautiful Outlook. The villa itself was perfect, and everything we could possibly need was included.The beds were extremely comfortable, and the spa bath and gas fire were a treat. All of the staff we came into came into contact with were very, helpful and courteous. (The gentleman who mowed the expansive lawns even stopped to ask us if the lawnmower noise would bother us). Breakfast was included in our booking and was plentiful and delicious. We hope to return in the future and will recommend this resort to our friends and family.

Arrived later than planned however keys were ready for me to collect along with info for my stay. Found my cottage easily and walked in to find the lights on, air running and tv set to a music channel. The most amazing welcome and such a thoughtful touch. The cottage and resort is beautiful and has everything you could ever want for a comfortable stay. Pictures online do not do it justice. Breakfast was delicious and presentation lovely. Staff welcoming and friendly and happy to help with anything you may need. Will definitely be back!

Heatpump wax on when we checked in and room was beautiful and warm on such a dreary winters day Breakfast was excellent and included in price. Complimentary shuttle service was also a plus. Highly recommend this venue and would definitely book again

I would highly recommend the Garden Room with private hot tub. The hot tub was very clean (serviced every day) and hot and such a joy to soak in under the trees. The gas heater in the room made the space cosy and warm and gave the lounge area a relaxing atmosphere. Great facilities in the kitchen and a large bathroom. Also a large, soft bed. The restaurant area for dinner and breakfast was warm and intimate. Nice to look out onto a lovely garden area.
