I like the location, decoration and aesthetics of the property. Some of the staff were fantastic. The breakfast chef when I first arrived was great. I loved Level 5. I had a few treatment at the spa. The night life on the terrace was good, I enjoyed it. I liked the fact I was also able to watch football at the bar.

I felt some of the staff were not informed about certain things. I had a 15% off food & drinks during my stay, however I was told I was only allowed it off just food. We also had late check out on our booking, once again the staff were not aware of this offer. I was told to make payment when I arrived although I had already supplied my bank card details. I wanted to pay using my American Express card, however their card machine wasn’t working.

After staying at some other places in Lagos, this was a relieve. A relative clean place with good facilities. Most of the staff is very friendly. Nice pool and lots of beautifull views over Lagos. Next time we are in Lagos we will skipp the other places and go here directly.

While checking out, the bill was incorrect. The staff member however fixed the problem right away. The exchange rate for cash exchange is rediculous. While the banks give 1500 at this moment, the hotel would give 900 Naira for one euro. I know it's not a hotels primairy function, but it would have helped me to get a normal price. Now I had to go to an exchange.

Breakfast was well-staffed with many friendly personnel. Special thanks to Mariam, who does the best egg whites ever. The staff members make breakfast a great experience. There is a variety of Nigerian and European meals. There are more than enough beverages. The decor is welcoming and beautiful. The ambience in the building is comforting and luxurious. The security staff and the concierges are friendly, helpful, and try their best to get to know the guests. The folks in the gym and the swimming pool provided excellent customer service. The receptionists are arguably the best hotel receptionists in Lagos. Overall, I like the fact that the hotel keeps improving instead of regressing, which is common in many hotels in Lagos. I will certainly come back again

Please let delivery people come into the hotel to deliver orders to your guests, instead of having to always meet them at the security gates.

Our stay at the Continental Hotel in Lagos was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel truly welcome. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable — always friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Our family enjoyed absolutely everything the hotel had to offer, from the beautiful rooms to the excellent dining and relaxing atmosphere. But what stood out the most was the way the staff connected with our daughter. She was absolutely enchanted by their kindness and enthusiasm, and she’s been talking about them ever since we left. We know she’ll always remember them with a big smile. Thank you, Continental Hotel, for giving us such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Pool open time could be a bit longer

I wish there were an option for 20 stars! From the first person we met Innocent, the greatest bellman on the planet who was so helpful and polite. He gave world-class service and every person after that pulled their weight. It was hard to decide who gave better service. The rooms were spectacular, the decor was world-class, and everywhere you looked was something fabulous and interesting. SoHO Chinese restaurant was clear that a chef was making your food, they danced in our mouths. I can't begin to explain how luxurious the bedroom was with a garden tub for two. It was our Anniversary but everything was so perfect, we barely left the hotel. We will visit yearly. Kudos to every staff member there because they all work as a perfect team..

Hotel was strategically located an easily assessible to other parts of Lagos. Room very tidy with clean bathroom and comfortable bed. All manner of entertainment available on the TV including all kinds of sports. The staff all very professional in their duties from the security men at the entrance gate to the reception and dinning. The food is very good and buffer from breakfast to dinner. Breakfast was free but you have to pay for the lunch/dinner. There is also Chinese and Italian Resturants within the hotel as extra option besides the variety of food provided at the buffer. I initially booked for five nights but because the hotel was so ideal for me, I had to cancel reservation in another hotel to extend my stay at the Lagos Continental. I will definitely visit again.

Everything on point except the towels need some upgrade.

I like everything about this property and hotel. It is at the heart of Victoria Island Lagos and one can easily access other parts of Lagos from there. I love the attention to details that the staff give and no request is too small for them. I wish to commend Maria and Martin who are in charge of frying Omelette during Breakfast; if you have not tried their omelette, you are missing so much. Maria and Martin are simply the best and they served everyone with a smile. There were queues around them each morning and they never lost their cool. They should be treasured and promoted. I thank them for making my 2 weeks stay a huge success.

Nothing at all!!!

I previously stayed from June 18 - 23--and absolutely enjoyed the property so much so that I chose to return on June 28. The bar on the 5th floor, the breakfast buffet spread,, the friendliness of the staff-- all were top notch.

Unfortunately, I had an incident on the early morning of June 23rd-- a water leak from the room above spilled on my room and caused me to fall --hitting my head on the wall and irreparably damaging my bracelet while I was trying to break my fall. Issue was reported to management and they promised to review and get back to me. No one contacted me about the issue. When I came back for my stay on June 28th and inquired-- their resolution was to bump me from a standard room to a club room. I was disappointed at how they handled the situation. They least they could have done was to comp my stay for one night--or something more meaningful. In any event, I am thankful that I am OK. My advise would be try not to get hurt while there--otherwise, great property / experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lagos Continental, and I must say, it remains my favorite hotel in Lagos. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth and politeness, which set the tone for a fantastic stay. One of the standout offerings is the all-inclusive breakfast, it features a wide variety of delicious options that cater to various tastes, ensuring that every guest can find something delightful to enjoy. The facilities at Lagos Continental are not only clean but also meticulously maintained, reflecting the hotel's commitment to providing guests with a pleasant experience. Its location is yet another feather in its cap, as it is conveniently situated and easily accessible to all attractions on the Island. Overall, my stays at Lagos Continental have consistently exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning on my next visit to Lagos. Highly recommended!

The only downfall is that the menu does not change. You get the same thing every day
