Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Even though we checked out early, because we were flying quite late at night and still wanted to use the hotel facilities, they made a room available for us in the evening to wash-up and get dressed before we finally left for the airport. Love the fact that the adjoining EbonyLife Place is a part of the hotel and can be used by the guests. Restaurants there were brilliant, particularly the roof top restaurant.

Room service was a bit slower than expected and the when the food order arrived, an item was incorrect. I thought the Asian fusion restaurant was a bit pricey, but I suppose they are trying to keep it quite exclusive. There was also some soliciting of "gifts" by a staff member. However, none of this took away from the pleasure of the stay at the hotel. Would give 4.8/5. Well recommended. Note that although google maps shows that the hotel is walking distance to the beach, that entrance is closed due to construction traffic and you will need to catch a taxi to landmark beach

It’s my favourite place and from the manager Michael Williams and the staff are excellent customer service. It feels like home. Love the entertainment centre it’s truly a one stop resort. The roof top is just the place to hang out on Fridays and Saturday listening to dazzling Jazz music whilst having food and networking. This is my place for every time I am in Lagos. Anaya Kamara

I throughly enjoyed the Nigerian breakfast the hotel had on offer. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was a good size and very clean. The bathroom had many toiletries provided and slippers alongside a robe which were a lovely surprise. The water flow and temperature control were fantastic.

There is a safe in the room but unfortunately I could not get it to work. The American breakfast was not done well so I did not enjoy it and felt sick afterwards. The window blind in the bathroom could be thicker, construction work was taking place next door which made me uncomfortable when showering.

- staff at the reception not friendly and also not professional - in general comparison price-performance ratio is not quite right It's the little things that are missing here: - booked for two, but everything only available once: towel, room shoes, bathrobe, towel - we had to hang a hand towel in front of the bathroom window in room 1115, because it was possible to look in from the opposite side. - there was tea and coffee, but no kettle

This is one of the very best I have stayed in lagos. Very welcoming staff, very clean ,cozy and comfortable ambiance. The welcome drink is to die for. Swift check in and great attention to details. I loved that you could order food at anytime and I always looked forward to the delicious breakfast. The roof top restaurant, the cinema, and the pool side restaurant makes this place one you would love to explore. I love everything about this place and I have stayed here on my 3 visits to lagos.

The size of the standard room on my first visit was so small I had to upgrade. I do not like that the pool is not at the hotel part of the facility. The WiFi isn't strong enough and Netflix doesn't work.

Wonderful location, great rooms with a lovely and attentive staff inside the property. The breakfast options were great too. The bed was super bouncy which was a welcome change from some of the harder beds I had slept on at other major hotels so glad I could have a good night's sleep.

The outdoor/security staff just weren't as attentive as I expected or needed them to be. At times I would be standing outside the main gate waiting for someone to let me in because both guards have left their posts which just isn't appropriate.

The decor of the hotel and the room was very well curated. I especially loved the cultural artefacts dotted around the room. The breakfast selection was decent though I found the Nigerian option was too westernised in some ways. I was able to request for it to be cooked to my specification on the last morning. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Hotel is in a very Central area and getting Uber to other locations on the island was pretty straightforward. Overall a very delightful stay that made my return to Lagos after many years a very enjoyable experience.

Nothing really

One of our best stays at a hotel in Nigeria. The Location and facilities of the Hotel were beyond ideal. The pool area, rooftop bar, and the hotel restaurant provided good service, delicious food and a great vibe/ambience. The staff are well trained and the manager was able accommodated to our needs and requests as needed, which we truly appreciated. Wifi always had great connection and the rooms are clean and well taken care off. The interior design of the hotel and Ebony Plaza was just the cherry on the top.

Very comfortable and well located hotel attached to Ebony Life Place. Courteous and always helpful staff with a smile. Yummy Nigerian dishes. We only can recommend this hotel and surely will come back at our next visit to VI.

My second visit did not disappoint me -beautiful, friendly staff, great food and staff changed to suit my veggie diet when requested, comfortable room and balcony with free upgrade ….well recommended it is such a treat to stay there ❤️
