I absolutely loved this place! Tucked away in the heart of the mountains, it’s surrounded by a stunning garden that adds to its charm. The room was cozy, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was done with lots of love. After a month and a half of traveling, I came here seeking peace and quiet, and it was exactly what I needed. The nearby waterfall, just a 30-minute walk away, is an absolute must-see. If you walk a little further past the waterfall, there’s a massive rock where you can sit and take in breathtaking views of the valley below—truly magical. The property also offers a variety of activities, so whether you want to relax, explore, or do a bit of both, it has something for everyone. We have just left after a wonderful week at Unuwasi. This was one of the best places we have stayed. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth. The room was stunning and impeccably designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The bed was exceptionally comfy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The room was also cleaned to an excellent standard everyday. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, providing a serene and picturesque environment. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast – undoubtedly the best we’ve had in Peru. The food menu was diverse and delicious, offering excellent value for money. What truly set our experience apart was the staff, particularly Yuli. She was fantastic, incredibly sweet, and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She was very attentive, even to the point of coming to open the umbrella for us whenever it was hot and we needed shade, we didn’t even need to ask, she just did it instinctively, it was very kind. Her dedication and cheerful demeanor truly enhanced our experience. We really enjoyed and appreciated the extra little touches, such as: hot water in the room everyday with a different selection of teas (lemon, Andean mint & honey - just to name a few!). They also pick fresh flowers from the garden and put them in your room everyday. The accommodation also offers a variety of great extra activities such as massages, and fire pits. It does cost extra to enjoy these activities but they are absolutely worth it! We highly recommend the star gazing in the hot tub – it was a magical experience that we’ll never forget. Overall, Unuwasi exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Peru.

The location is good, nice mountain views, quiet area, good comfort, comfortable bed, hot water. Yuli is very hospitable, friendly, nice, ready to do anything to help.

The road to access there is bad. It would be nice to have the breakfast outside and not in the restaurant area inside to take profit of the outside area. Yuli wanted to charge me credit card fees which I didn't know but she waived those fees upon my request.

We stayed at the villa for two nights and enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is located in a beautiful nature, well designed, the villa had chimney, which was perfect for romantic evening and wine. Yuli took care of us, prepared delicious breakfast and helped with different issues.

The hot water pressure in the shower can be improved. You should know that the road to reach the hotel is not easy but the hotel definitely worth it.

The hotel staff makes you feel at home. Breakfast consists of a fruit salad, eggs made to taste with a slice of ham or mushrooms, local bread with butter and jam, coffee and herbal teas. Arin falls are a short walk away. Room size was great, quite spacious. We had a small balcony. WiFi worked well in the room.

The hotel location is quite remote, so you need a car to get there and use Waze/hotel instruction video. Hot water in the shower is haphazard. We could't use Netflix on the TV due to poor internet connection. There is no heating in the room. There are no restaurants in the vicinity, so be prepared to have lunch and/or dinner at the hotel (the food is good).

Beautiful retreat vibe in the sacred valley. On site restaurant is excellent, the room was tastefully decorated, and everything was very comfortable.

Everything was great! Be aware that it isn’t in a town, but the staff are helpful at calling taxis when needed.

Erika’s villas are beautiful and her staff are all incredibly helpful. My husband & I stayed for 3 days in one of the Mountain View rooms during our honeymoon. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and there is the option of home cooked food for every meal if desired. The views are incredible of the mountains, and it is a very short, pretty walk down the road to a nearby supermarket, passing by flowers and farms and different buildings. It takes less than 10 mins to walk down the hill and there are restaurants and cafe nearby that are delicious (like Alto café!) I heartily disagree with the previous reviewer who claimed it was “so far” from everything— this is simply not true. And if you prefer not to walk, Erika is very happy to schedule rides for you. The food at UnuWasi is also delicious, we had yummy infusions and teas, and trout with native potatoes-- todos perfectos. The rooms have TVs and you can log in to your Netflix or Amazon prime. There is a jacuzzi and hammocks to lounge in, and beautiful grassy spaces. There is even laundry service for a fee. I truly cannot say enough positive things about the attentiveness of our hosts. I got a bit of a stomach bug *before* coming to UnuWasi, and Erika went out to get bismutol for me, and made special plain pasta during the days I could not eat more interesting food. We learned that Erika designed the buildings and supervised the build of the whole resort. I hope more people come to stay here, it is truly a labor of love and we felt very cared for. The spa was not very clean or hot, but everything else was perfect!

Stunning location, comfortable adorable room, Yuli was an incredible, kind host. Yummy food, beautiful walk to the nearby waterfall was a highlight.

The property is so beautiful and the views are amazing! Also the rooms are comfortable and the host is so very kind. It was a perfect place to recuperate from the long hard travel.
