The Hacienda Inkaterra was a highlight of our trip. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the surroundings are breathtaking. We loved our luxury casita which was spacious and very comfortable. We used the fire place every night. The main building had wonderful relax areas and a nice bar area. The welcome pisco sour is the best pisco sour we have ever had. We had another the next night and it was equally fantastic. Be mindful of altitude impacting alcohol intake. We took advantage of two of the free nature walks. We did the morning one at 10 am. It ended up being a private tour for me and my husband and the guide. It was informative and we saw lovely grounds around the hotel. We also did the star gazing tour at 530 pm and there were about 15 hotel guests that participated. Very wonderful offering. The hotel style was chic and not opulent which we loved. It was hard to leave we loved it so much.

The restaurant only has one main menu for lunch and dinner so if you are looking for multiple meals it gets tiresome. The breakfast was super but some More overall variety or a daily special could help change it up at the other meals.

The location, the sustainable side of it, the landscape and the small details like the chimney and the hot water bags in the bed. Great activities as well like the sunset walk!

My partner was sick and we asked to kindly extend the check out which was not fully possible. We asked for another room but they were fully booked so they didn’t provide any alternative even if he had food poisoning and was not able to move. We had two complimentary cocktails which we didn’t use, so I asked if I could swap them with Coca Cola and it was not allowed. We had to pay for that extra

We had a very relaxing stay- we had planned for one night, but extended it to two nights as we enjoyed the property so much The rooms/cabins are very large/ Nice bathrooms and beds with patios We ate all of our meals there and enjoyed all of them (I am vegetarian and liked all of my options/ my husband who is not vegetarian also equally enjoyed the meals) They have a few activities each day, we enjoyed a short hike and learned about the local community, plants and birds In the afternoon, they have a nice tea time with small snacks- For planning- it takes 1.5 hours from the airport/ plan a ride in advance- it is about $50 for a couple from Cusco The local area has a few popular tourist places to visit though we did not take advantage of these as we just enjoyed staying there The Sacred Valley was an adjustment in altitude for us (we are from Nebraska) and it was nice to acclimate there, before staying in Cusco and ultimately hiking the Salkantay trail.

I wish they had a small store to buy snacks/bottled drinks for your room / I recommend packing some ahead of time

Everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed in a delux room and the setting and room were beautiful. There were so many nice touches like turn down service with hot water bottles and staff lighting the fire in our room at night. The spa was great and the treatments were life changing. I can’t fault anything about our experience and all the staff were brilliant. We will be back.

This is one of the most incredible parts of our Peru experience. I had no expectations going in, except to relax in nature. We were really happy with our cottage and nightly fires. The food is outstanding and served by very kind, happy staff. The highlight was birdwatching in the mornings and doing the nature walks with the guide. This hotel is located in an incredible nook inside the mountains that makes you feel wrapped in the Andes. It is truly a magical location. Additionally, our spa services were divine.

Property’s location

Restaurant prices were very high for what they were offering. I was expecting other kind of water, not Cielo for 12 soles (that we also had in the room for free) also I payed 82 soles for my dinner and steak was quite overcooked and the potato was undercooked. I was expecting more knowing Inkaterra is one of the best hotel chains Peru has.

the location is beyond magnificent! The view from the casita was legendary and the property is very spacious, a perfect sanctuary in the middle of the sacred valley

a little preference would be to have more casual food available, not just gourmet food. but there is an amazing healthy restaurant down the road, so we were covered and felt well nourished during the stay.

The woman in charge the spa who ruined our stay through her extreme rudeness and poor service. Simply not good enough for a hotel of this standard...

Exceptionally amazing hotel! Absolutely loved the location overlooking the beautiful mountains. The hotel is stunning decorated with amazing hand crafted local Peruvian pieces which made the hotel feel warm and inviting. The service was excellent particularly from Edgar. Book the suite with the fire place, it’s incredible!

Everything was just perfect since we’ve entered the hotel. The staff, the room, the food. All the facilities were great. It’s one of the best our experience! Thank you for that!
