The staff here was super friendly & helpful. There is bottled water for sale in the lobby, lots of tea and coffee and a decent breakfast. Loved how the rooms were decorated. Ours was comfortable & clean. It is a hike to get up the hill, there are stairs no matter which way you go to get there. But the views from the area are amazing! The street it is on is adorable and there are some great vendors near the aqueduct. Carmen makes some amazing necklaces. Pics are of the area.

Room was a little chilly at night. The last day they did not leave a bath mat & the floor was super slippery & my husband slipped. So be very careful in the bathrooms.

The hotel is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Cusco, 7 Borreguitos Street. However, to get there, you have to walk up a steep hill. The rooms were nice, comfortable, and had warm blankets. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fine for Cusco standards, but nothing special — don’t expect anything outstanding in terms of flavors.

The hotel has a terrace with lovely views, as shown in the photos, but it’s hardly used because breakfast is not served there — it’s served downstairs with no views. That was a bit disappointing. We had an issue with the breakfast they were supposed to prepare for our Machu Picchu excursion. They told us it would be ready at 2am, which is when we were being picked up, but it wasn’t prepared and we left without breakfast. The reason was that the bread hadn’t arrived… we were disappointed — they should have let us know, and we would have prepared something ourselves.

Great location. The hills up and then stairs to the entrance were challenging but everyone was friendly and away from traffic noise which was something I appreciated. View from our room was spectacular.

Some aspects of this hotel were nice but I personally don't think it's quite at boutique stage as yet. Only 2 towels given. As a female I need an additional towel for my hair. No floor mat in bathroom so wet feet onto ceramic tiles was worrying. I think the room we had (402) needed a couple of rugs as the floor was very cold underfoot and again coming from the bathroom you have to be careful not to slip. (bathroom far too small to be able dry off in there)

We stayed here twice during our vacay and had different rooms. Likes: -Location, a bit above Plaza Major , lots of cute spots near hotel. Stairway to get to hotel is perfect picture spot. - Amazing views of of the city if the room has a view - staff very accommodating, help with airport shuttle, requests, and general info Opportunities for improvement: - A couple showers were moldy (let them know & could tell they tried to clean it) - not all rooms have colorful paintings, very pain without - two of the room we stayed had issues with the windows (gaps) making it colder FYI - went in March, room very cold at night. They provide thick heavy blankets for the bed. Heater available on request.

The views from the room we had (402--top floor but worth the stairs) were spectacular. We also enjoyed the very large bed. Finally, the shower was as good if not better than we expected. Water pressure is great, there is plenty of room in the shower, and we never ran out of hot water. The staff was friendly and helpful--especially with lugging baggage up and down for us. Also, we appreciated being able to leave large luggage there while we went to Machu Picchu for a couple of days. Overall, we were just really really happy with our stay.

The hotel is located on a pedestrian walkway, so you have to walk yourself and your bags up some stairs after a taxi drops you off at the nearest street. This was by no means a deal breaker for us, but it might be for some people. The breakfast that was included wasn't particularly amazing, but I'm always happy with whatever is offered for an included breakfast. If you want something different they have a coffee shop on site and there are other breakfast options very close by that are very affordable.

This property is perfect for a few days in Cusco. Comfortable beds, hot showers, extra blankets as it gets quite cool at night (with the option of turning the heater on if needed too). The staff are so accommodating and kind, they helped us organise our bags for when we visited Machu Picchu. The view from the room was beautiful, could see out over the house tops of Cusco. Plenty of amazing restaurants and pharmacies a short walk down the hill, about 15 mins slow walk to the main Plaza too. The hotel has a 24hr tea station, with coca leaves and muna tea on tap! Makes it a lot easier to settle and adjust to altitude. We didn’t have any issues with noise, during the day the street outside the hotel is a tourist attraction in itself (beautiful) so there’s voices then of passers by, but at night we had no issues whatsoever.

Nothing, the walk up to the entrance is no different to walking around the hills of Cusco (it’s a very steep city generally).

The room design was nice, the staff was excellent, the bed was comfortable.

The room gets very hot during the day and very cool at night as there is not heat or AC. Personally for me, the location was a bit hard because it's in a very popular spot so people are always taking pictures on the stairs. Carrying your luggage up the hill, the stairs, more stairs, then, yup more stairs to your room.

We liked the breakfast, the staff was very polite and gave us good recommendations, helped us with some calls and advices for our security (Javier and Royert). We had tea and coffee whenever we wanted + New Testaments to read. It was the most beautiful street in the city, with lots of flowers. It is a good place to start your walks to the center, to the Cristobal, to the Eucaliptsus forest, to some churches were you can have a beautiful view. It was good they had a heater, because it is a necessity when you have 0 degrees in the night.

It was a noisy place: because many tourist want to take photos on that beautiful street, the walls were thin, so you can hear the noise from the other rooms and the maids started the cleaning almost at 6-7 in the morning and we could hear them on the hall. The room was smallest that it looks in the pictures and the balcony was not really a balcony with some space to go out.

The hotel staff is super friendly and I really have to thank you Christian and Royert who have been super helpful by giving me all the info I needed and it was always a pleasure talking with them! The hotel is located in one of the best area of Cusco with a beautiful view over the city. It’s surrounded by little streets which are very characteristic and you can easily reach the main square, Plaza de Armas by walking just few minutes. The area is also full of little restaurants and shops all around.

Noise that comes from other rooms and corridor didn’t allow us to sleep peacefully. Awful coffee for breakfast. I was expecting for hotel guests same coffee as for those who came from outside to cafeteria. Breakfast could be better.
