This hotel is GORGEOUS. It is higher up so the views are amazing. There is a garden you can relax and take in the sights or you can sit on the balcony on the top floor. Breakfast is good too, they will make eggs to order and they were the best eggs I had in all of Peru. Staff is great and very accommodating, they even offer to hold your larger luggage if you are traveling a few days to Machu Picchu and can't take it all with you.
Nothing, I love this hotel.

The staff was very attentive and kind. Upon our arrival, our beds were made with a heating pad placed under the blankets for extra warmth - that was an excellent touch! The location of the hotel is great as well - in a quiet neighbourhood and still very close to Plaza de Armas. The breakfast was amazing.
The hotel offers an airport shuttle, and we made sure to book a pick up from the airport well in advance - it was confirmed by the hotel over email. On the day of our flight I sent them a message saying that our flight might be slightly delayed, but didn’t hear back. We landed in Cusco airport on time and waited 30 minutes for our driver who never came, so we had to take a taxi to the hotel. This situation should have never happened. We landed in Cusco very late at night and we were 3 girls, that’s why it was our priority to make sure that we are booking a safe airport transfer.

We loved everything about this hotel - it's a charming hotel in a great location in Cusco with amazing views and INCREDIBLE customer service. Our stay felt so special because the staff went out of their way every day to make our stay comfortable. One day my boyfriend got sick and the hotel manager offered medications and even to call a doctor, and then checked in the next day to see how he was doing. The staff helped us with laundry, local recommendations and treated us with delicious meals (for breakfast and dinner. Also the massages were very reasonably priced and extremely high quality - Roxanne and Ruth were great massage therapists. The bed was very comfy and the room had heating for colder Cusco nights, and they even brought hot water bottles to heat up the bed every night - what a nice touch! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Cusco!!
Wifi quality in some rooms wasn't strong enough but if you are there for vacation it should not be a problem! Some guests complianed that their rooms were quite small but i thought they were reasonable size and had everything we needed (including a small desk). We had no complaints at all!

Really pretty hotel, the view from the room was beautiful. The gardens were lovely and being able to eat breakfast in the garden was great. The staff were really friendly and we got a bottle of wine in the room on arrival, as our stay here was part of our honeymoon trip, which was a lovely touch.
Just a few tiny things, the room was quite small which was a bit tricky as we were travelling for 4 months so had a lot of stuff-the beautiful views did make up for this though! Breakfast was nice but there was a limit on how many eggs you could request, no biggie just meant my husband was still a little hungry after. There was a bell you had to ring in order to access the hotel (which was great security wise) but there were quite a few times where nobody answered for a while and we had to wait to get in. Again no biggie. Only tiny things, overall a lovely hotel that I would definitely recommend.

We were very happy with our 2-night stay at this hotel. They were happy to receive a delivery of our luggage a week ahead of checking in whilst we were starting the Inca trail at Ollantaytambo. Do note that if you are being dropped off in a large car it may not be able to get up the very narrow streets. We had to drag our suitcases a bit to the hotel! Reception staff were very polite and helpful. There is no lift but staff helped to take our suitcases upstairs. We had a room with a nice balcony with great views of Cusco. The room was large and the beds comfy. It did get a bit cold in the evenings and the little heater did not always come on, but staff delivered hot water bottles to the rooms every night and we thought this was a great service! The only other issue was that the hot water was temperamental and the bathroom a bit cold which made showering not a great experience. The breakfast was great. Omelettes made to order, and gluten-free bread also available. Lovely fruit salad and cheese, ham etc as per standard continental breakfast. We booked a massage each at the Spa. The spa consists of a room on 4th floor with 2 massage tables and a large jacuzzi bath which you pay to use (quite costly though). Massages for 60 mins at $40 was very reasonable. The therapist called Ruth spoke good English.

Small but very comfy hotel in a great location and has the best views of central Cusco. Our bed was very comfortable and the hot water bottles they provide in the evenings were a very nice touch. The staff were exceptional - they were friendly yet professional, knowledgeable about the area and provided support to help us acclimate to the high altitude. On our last day we opted to get a deep tissue massage. Our therapists Ruth and Roxana were excellent! The massage was amazing - much needed after two challenging hikes. Highly recommend Hotel Encantada if you are staying in Cusco!

We had a big room with an amazing view, and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable even thought it was a bit hard. The hotel it’s on a quiet street, with almost no traffic. The breakfast was also good. We really enjoyed the garden. Overall we were happy with our stay
- the lack of noise isolation combined with the music in the lobby makes it very difficult to rest during the day or early evening. - they don’t give you a key to enter the property, so if you get unlucky and come back at the hotel when there is no one at the front desk you will have to wait a few minutes, which can be annoying when it rains - you don’t always have hot water, warm-ish yes, but not always hot

The hotel was situated at the top of town. Our taxi driver could not make it all the way up, but it was only 5 mins walk up. There were steep steps up to the hotel from the street. When we arrived, the check in lady was very helpful and accomodating. She spoke very good English and made us comfortable straight away. Check in was very easy. A gentleman took one of our big bags upstairs. The room was small, but very comfortable. Just enough space for everything. We had a great view over the city through the panoramic window that opened. The breakfast had enough to get us started for the day with fruit, eggs, breads and pastries.
It was a little noisy in the hotel. The doors and walls were quite thin. At 6am, we could hear the breakfast being prepared downstairs. The curtains were not blackout, so the sun woke us up early as well.

Breakfast buffet was excellent with loads of options. They delivered warm rubber water bottles before bedtime to put in your bed and make it all toasty - a special treat, for sure. The front desk was extremely helpful with suggestions and organizing taxi rides when needed. The property is beautifully landscaped and we spent time sitting out on the patios, taking in the city views, playing cards, and drinking wine.
It was all wonderful! One bit of information that is important to understand is that the roads leading up to the hotel are steep and narrow, so if you're not in good physical shape, it would be challenging to get around by walking.

Everything at Encantada was great. What stood out the most was the staff. All of them made sure my stay was special. The location for me was perfect. Because it was above the city, my biggest challenge was climbing the stairs to get back up to the San Blas neighborhood. I am in good condition, but usually had to stop once to take a deep breath. The chef at breakfast was such a hard worker, and always had a pleasant smile on her face. They even brought a hot water bottle to my room in the evening to make sure my feet would be warm.
I didn't like the fact that their food menu did not include traditional food preparation, but seemed to cater more to western tastes. At the same time, I ate out every lunch or dinner. It was good not to rely on the hotel, which allowed me to explore many traditional and modern eating establishments.
