The hotel is beautiful, we loved the jungle vs castle decor. The rooms were big, perhaps slightly outdated but that contributes to the overall charm of the hotel. Great breakfast options and lovely restaurant inside the hotel, with a courtyard outside. We had lunch there and drinks and food were very good. The staff is friendly and attentive. We felt very safe and location wise it's a 15 min walk to the beach and close to all main attractions in Miraflores, including great restaurants.

We received the warmest welcome at reception when we arrived, which was amazing after 24 hours of travelling! All of the staff were super friendly. The hotel is beautiful. There is a pretty outside seating area at the front with a restaurant and bar inside. Purified water is readily available, so you can help yourself as and when needed. Our room (1 large double and 2 singles) had loads of space. It had everything you would expect and was very clean. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Mattresses were reasonably firm and really comfortable. Location in Miraflores was perfect. There was security at the front gate, although we never really felt unsafe in Lima - that said we were only really in the tourist areas. Breakfast was plentiful. Lots of coffee, bread, eggs, meats etc. We ate the fruit with no problems. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again, and more than happy to recommend to others.

The hotel is beautiful! There is a seating area with a small bar and a lovely breakfast area. The entry has a beautiful garden with tables and chairs for dining at the exceptional in house restaurant. Customer service is simply the finest. They even packed a breakfast for us the day we had an early tour. They had several kinds of Piscos there for sale and allowed me to have a tasting so I could decide. So much nicer than the local grocery store where the salesmen hover and are pushy. They even have quality local souvenirs for sale so you don’t have to deal with the hawkers. So helpful in every way. They booked shuttles for us to and from the airport. I would definitely recommend this charming, reasonably priced hotel!

The breakfast was amazing! I enjoyed that they served different Peruvian dishes each morning with a variety of drinks to pick from and delicious fruit as well. The staff was so nice and welcoming and I loved how clean our room was left everytime they would come in. Also I appreciated that they packed us breakfast for our early 5am tour, that was lovely. I also enjoyed our view from our room into the beautiful courtyard. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. There was bakeries, pharmacies and markets by us. ALSO this hotel has a restaurant and we ate dinner there a few times and their ceviche was delicious as well as all their other dishes. 10/10!!

Room was well equipped with nice wooden furniture, and the bed was comfortable. Common areas were nicely furnished. Breaksfast was very good, as was the restaurant and bar. Gated complex so felt safe. Staff were very friendly. Free filtered water. I used the laundry service after coming from a trek in Ecuador, and it was adequate, and returned my items in time for checkout (maybe a little pricey but never used this type of service before to compare). Close enough for me to walk to the light house and then use the Malecon to go as far as Larcomar, but I didn't really venture elsewhere locally.

Room was little pricier than alternatives in Miraflores. Not the hotel's fault, but I wasn't really there long enough to fully get my bearings. I didn't get the impression there was much directly around the hotel.

This is such a unique hotel which is based on its own farm with a railway station on its doorstep. I am so happy I stayed here, the staff are so welcoming and polite and willing to accommodate to your needs. It is the perfect location and the views are amazing. As you step out of the hotel you are onto the railway platform which is so convenient if you have a tripped planned to Machu Picchu. I stayed here for my birthday and the staff made plans for me on the day which was an thoughtful gesture. This hotel is located a very short distance from Ollantaytambo historical site. The hotel was conveniently located in the Miraflores district, where we wanted to be. We were only there for one night, so we did not experience the hotel as fully as if we had stayed longer, but for our brief stay, it met our needs. Clean, comfortable, and in Miraflores. The decor was charming, and there was a cute on-site coffee bar. The staff was friendly, and while the complimentary breakfast was not overly exciting, it fit the bill for a quick bite before heading out to the airport.

The onsight guard at the property made me question whether the hotel was located in a safe neighborhood or if that was simply out of an abundance of caution. At no time did we feel unsafe, but it did raise questions for me.

- Free filtered water accessible on each floor is amazing - Front desk spoke VERY fluent English - Very helpful check-in process where you're given all the info about the hotel - Ceiling fan is a great touch - Building has soooo much character - Ability to use stairwell (and not just elevator) - Breakfast was pretty decent - WiFi was fast

- Desk chair could be more comfortable - No fridge or microwave - Pillows aren't great; one is too thin and the other is too thick - You literally can’t leave the premises without the security guard opening the door for you. Feels overbearing. And he doesn’t even stand next to the gate so it takes him like 10 seconds to walk over each time. - Shower water temperature is finicky to control.
