My husband I stayed Tierra Viva Miraflores for 3 nights before heading home after a longer trip in Peru. Staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very adequate - hot and cold drinks, scrambled eggs with changing meat dishes, breads, cereal, yoghurts, cheese, olives and fruits. Our room was a good size and was very clean. It was nice to have a bath after a week of hiking! Our bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We were left water and there was also two complimentary bottles of beer and two Cokes in the mini fridge. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, and a tea station set up on the foyer to help yourself to. Outside was hustle and bustle, but the windows kept most of the noise out and the double blinds kept it nice and dark when we needed a sleep in. The location is good with lots of restaurants nearby and about 30 mins walk to Parque Kennedy. We had a prebooked taxi (though booking.com) to and from the airport and it took 40 mins on one trip and 20 mins on the other - all traffic depending. Miraflores is a really interesting neighborhood to walk around and discover - it really grew on us. The only issue we had during our stay was that our payment for the room was taking from two different cards as I was told the first payment didn't work. As soon as I alerted the front desk they looked into it quickly for me and kept me updated with how they were looking into it. My bank has since reimbursed me with the money, but it should be noted that the staff were very understanding about my concern and did what they could do to help resolve the situation.

Modern, sparkling clean bathrooms; nice breakfast selection and service; choice of indoor or outdoor seating for breakfast. Super helpful front desk staff; comfortable beds; quiet street A female front desk person (wish I could remember her name) was kind and persistent on our behalf. We lost a package and thought a certain store might have it. We had trouble reaching them by phone so asked for help. Even after we'd returned to our room, she kept trying. The store had it and we retrieved it. Thank you!

Would like one more piece of wall art to liven up the room (but my daughter disagrees!). This is such a minor point, that I feel silly making it; but it did occur to me.

We arrived really early in the hotel - around 6 in the morning and asked for an early check in. They were able to provide us the room immediately for an extra 35 dollars charge which also included the breakfast for the same morning. We happily took the offer as we needed some rest as soon as possible. The hotel is trendy and in a really good part of Miraflores - very close to the cliffs promenade and some good restaurants. It was really easy to get an Uber to and from it. The room was spacious and comfortable and I noticed that it had an AC which we didn't have to use. The bathroom was clean, had various hotel amenities and good running hot shower. The breakfast was buffet style - not very rich but quite enough to start the day well. The staff was nice and accommodating.

No view from the room but we didn't expect to have it anyways. Breakfast could have had a little more choice but again, it's a nice thing to have to start your day.

The room was very comfortable and staff were great with helping direct us to the closest supermarket. Breakfast was plentiful and could be served up on the open balcony area. One of the days we weren't feeling so great and the staff allowed us to take a few plates of food from breakfast to our rooms to eat. Lots of nice restaurants nearby, we went to a Mercado which served tasty food - would recommend this!

Only minor feedback would be to have better curtains to block out the light from the windows in the rooms.

The hotel and rooms were modern and clean. The bathroom had all the amenities required, including small bottle shampoos and body lotion. The staff were friendly and were willing to help out with group requests. Carmen, who I spoke to on the reservation team, as well as the hotel staff went above and beyond to help facilitate pre-payment and ensure different parties of our group could check in immediately. The breakfast spread was incredible, the food was very fresh and delicious, and you can also request for an omelette with various ingredients with the kitchen. If you have an early start to the day, you can also request a breakfast to-go.

The location is very quiet and safe. There are a couple of small shops and pharmacies around the neighborhood. The room is relatively big with a huge bed in the middle - I loved that. The shower is also big and very comfortable.

Not that many great places to eat within walking distance, but that is exactly what makes the area calm and quiet. During my stay, there was a construction happening just next to the hotel, that made some noise, but I wasn't bothered that much by it.

Excellent value for your money. Large King size bed or two twin beds in a safe and easily walkable neighbourhood. The hotel arranged transportation to and from the airport and provided a bagged breakfast for an early morning departure.

The breakfast was chaotic. The space is small, with only one staff person designated to sign guests in, clear dishes, wash dishes, cook and prepare the food and attend to guest needs. An additional staff person assigned to breakfast service would offer a more comfortable experience for staff and guests.

Friendly staff, and very welcoming at the moment of the registration at the front desk. Meals at the rooftop restaurant were wonderful. The cleanliness of the rooms was very well performed. The are is surrounded by restaurants in a walking distance.

There was not a good heating system in the rooms, could be very cold, especially during the night. Laundry service could be way better.

The Staff was very friendly and obliging. The breakfast buffet had a big variety what we loved. It was also possible to sit on the terasse for breakfast. We loved that they always provided 2 bottles of water in the room.

The Hotel isn‘t really soundproof but i think that is common in Peru and we‘re lucky to have a room fronted the inner courtyard. Sometimes our ventilationsystem in the bathroom brought in some weird smell - sulfurous..

Staff were very friendly& helpfull. Great central location. Good breakfast buffet or to order breakfast menu was a reasonable amount of choices to order.

Difficult to control air conditioner I.e: either too cold or fan speed was hard to control. Opening window was good but got street noise. Noise coming from street & adjacent rooms was a bit annoying late night (after midnight)
