This is a very comfortable hotel in a great location, in fact better than all the other hotels on the main square. The square is closed to cars, but this hotel is just on the edge, so taxis etc can drive up to the front door with your luggage. We had what must be the best room, on the top floor, with a balcony and views of the lake. It also had a separate sitting area. We read some comments about shabby carpets and smelly radiators, but didn't have that experience at all!

The hotel description on Booking.com states there is a bar and restaurant. These are in fact closed and have clearly been closed for a long time. Only breakfast is served in the restaurant. But the restaurants and bars of the town centre are on your doorstep.

The location is directly across from the cathedral and adjacent to the main square of the city, with convenient access to restaurants and ATMs. The front desk staff were extremely helpful in recommending restaurants (try Mojsa), and connecting us with pickups for our Uros tour and inter-city bus. Additionally, the room was large, comfortable and very clean. Also, enjoyed breakfast which was available starting at 6:00AM. The early breakfast was great because our tour that started at 7:00AM! Strongly recommend.

I had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at the hotel. The service was excellent – very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a terrace and a view of the main square and the lake. A big plus is the good breakfast served from as early as 6 AM – a perfect solution for those planning to go on trips starting at 7 AM. The only thing that could be improved is the technical condition of the facilities, such as the bathroom.

Good location, hot shower, staff was welcoming and helpful on all that we needed. I had a medical emergency and they were more than amazing to us. The doctor and nurse came to the room and stabilized me. All went well and was coordinated by the staff of the hotel. I will be forever grateful to their excellent service and managing all that happened.

They just need to do some cosmetic changes to the property such as changing the rugs but other than that is a great property.

We got a room on the top floor with balcony! Great views of the Puno Cathedral and the Lake. Size of the room and the facilities were very good. Just perfect! Communication with the staff was excellent - helpful and professional. They obliged when we requested to get the same room when we came back after 2 days. Location is great - near the main square and good restaurants nearby. It was a perfect stay to have a good rest after some hectic days coming from the jungle!

The location was great. Right across from the central cathedral and nearby pedestrian only streets. Peru hop will pick you up here It was too cold to go out on the small balcony. Adequate breakfast buffet. Allowed us to store baggage for the day before our late nit departure, and we felt comfortable occupying the Lounge for a couple of hours after dark and before our departure

Like many South american hotels, it was a bit tired looking and chilly.

Everything. From the kind staff to the view from our room. The shower had hot water, we had heating on. It was great. Breakfast was amazing, it was a buffet with fresh bread, jam, fresh yogurt, fresh juice, cereal, ham, cheese. Just amazing. There is always tea at reception which is a plus. I think it is the best place I stayed in Peru

We came back for the second time after our Lake Titicaca 2day tour. The staff obliged when we requested to get the same room the first time we came. We got a room on the top floor with balcony! Great views of the Puno Cathedral and the Lake. Size of the room and the facilities were very good. Just perfect! Communication with the staff was excellent - helpful and professional. Location is great - near the main square and good restaurants nearby.

The room was nice and big with hot shower. Nice view. Good breakfast and nice staff.

We had wanted a room with balcony. In the earlier reviews I had found out that the twin rooms don´t have a balcony but only windows that open and a nice view. In my confirmation it however says "balcony" and it shouldn´t be like that.

Little outdated and very simple hotel however the rooms are very spacious! There was even a little office room to do one’s computer work. Wi-Fi is very good, as the breakfast with signature Peruvian bread. Nice view from the 6th floor with the city centre view.

Not a dislike but temperature in the room in the morning was exactly the same as outside.
