The location and room were perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Book a room with a balcony if you can. We watched a parade from our balcony and people watched in the evening. The church is lit up at night and is a beautiful view!! The room is clean and the bed is comfy!

There is a dance bar directly across from the balcony rooms that play extremely loud music on the weekends until 2am. We barely slept the first night and thankfully slept on a Sunday nigh when the band was gone.

This hotel is wonderful! It was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our three weeks in Peru. The receptionist came to find us after our bus dropped us a block away which was very much appreciated. The lobby area is beautiful and the hotel has a lift. They sell water but also have a free water station to fill water bottles. They have hot water and tea accessible in the lobby area and it's own restaurant which serves a lovely breakfast. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable, spacious and warm. The staff were very helpful and after storing our luggage for the day allowed us to wait in the lobby for 2-3 hours while we awaited our bus to pick us up which was hugely appreciated because I was sick and it was very cold outside. The hotel is very safe and in a fantastic central and safe location with lots of restaurants within easy walking distance.

The location is terrific. It’s close to everything you could need.. There was a special festival going on and there was a lot of music and dancing until the early hours That might bother some people but we were okay with it. When we arrived we had no idea we’d have a front row seat to an authentic celebration

The restaurant wasn’t so good. The service was slow. At one point I had to go to the entry of the kitchen to get the waiter. Also, I was craving some comfort food so I ordered spaghetti marinera. No normal red sauce here. My spaghetti noodles were swimming in a brown broth that wasn’t particular tasty.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice. There is a restaurant on site, I did not eat there but the food looked good. I was ill one day, suffering with Acute Mountain Sickness and reception called to see if I wanted any breakfast, they then delivered me a banana which was good of them. My room overlooked the main square with a balcony opening out onto a view of the cathedral.  The main square felt quite noisy at night with a band playing but I was going to bed early due to not feeling well. The hotel arranged a taxi  to collect me from the bus station and then to drop me off at Juliaca airport at the end of my time there. The prices seemed steep compared to the rest of Peru, so I am unsure if that was as I booked it through the hotel or if the prices in this region were more money. Nice, clean and comfortable hotel that I would book again if I return.

It was so nice to have a hot bath, clean, comfortable and warm room we actually moved here after spending a night at another hotel that was supposed to have a bath which was the main reason of our booking having been on the reed islands for a few days. Really wish we'd stayed the 2 nights here as this was much more up there at almost the same cost and it was right on the plaza, fiestas happening all that day around there but it was quiet at night. They even let us check in early 10am as our room was ready waiting for us which was a bonus, we had an early start to catch a 6am bus the next day and the nice girl on reception offered to order us a pack lunch which was perfect, they also booked us a taxi to take us to the bus depot. There is help yourself free coco tea in the reception and the staff are all friendly and helpful. It's a great spot for visiting Puno or just a sleep over for your next stop.

Our room was near the lift so we could hear this going often early hours, waking us up, but as we were only there for one night we put up with it. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which was a dissapointment, the salad starter was nice and fresh jug of lemonade was really good, but the mains of Veg Soup & the Pasta dish were both very bland. The pasta was far too thick and too much cream, pretty tasteless. We had to ask for salt & pepper to give both a bit of taste. But the waiter who was on his own and a bit rushed off his feet was very pleasant and calm.

Great location right on the main plaza of the town making everything walking distance from the hotel. Has elevators which makes carrying your items very easy. Staff is very helpful in arranging tours and taxis. Breakfast served in the morning.

If celebrations are going on in the main plaza you will hear them at night. Not a huge problem but something yo consider. The WiFi in the hallways and main areas is great but in the rooms it is very finicky depending on where your room is located.

Breakfast was only until 9am and check out is at 10am. Both slightly early. Also, the square can get very noisy until early in the morning, especially during festivities, so perhaps do some research before you book. On our last day we requested a wake up call which they failed to do. It was only a contingency in case our alarms failed but it showed a level carelessness nonetheless.

Location was great as it’s on the main square. There were several parade on the square over our stay which was good to see. The room was clean and beds comfortable. There was also a bath in the bathroom which was useful after a long day sightseeing. Breakfast had lots of choices.

Our room didn’t have a window on to any natural light. It was a service tunnel so we couldn’t open the window. Other than that, the room was very comfortable.

The staff was helpful and polite in particular Edy by providing usuful information about Puno. The location is convenience to stroll around Plaza de Armas and surrounding neighborhoods.

The only disappointment were the room and the ineternet. Room locate at the six floor was hot and I asked the staff for a fan and they were not enough available to fill the demand of other guests. The interent network was unsecured and required to log in via a portal and my devices were not able connected. I used a secured WIFI net in a near restaurant by consuming meals.

The location of the hotel was good, right on the main square and close to lots of restaurants etc. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was fine with a good shower and plenty of hot water. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They provided a boxed breakfast for us on the day of departure as we were leaving so early.

There was a mechanical noise going on and off the whole night. The staff said it was the noise of the water pump . It only seemed to affect the rooms at one corner of the building but was annoying. The radiator in the room was incredibly hot and couldn't be turned off. We had to sleep with the patio door open all night which made the room quite noisy as it fronted onto the main square.
