The Property is a little outside the main “downtown” area. About a half mile and a Trike will cost between 50 -100 PHP depending on the driver. The property has lots of plants and green space and a large pool. They also have lots of hammocks and seating areas spread around for you to enjoy. There is a restaurant on site but we did not eat there. They were able to arrange a shared van to the airport and it was the same price as everywhere else (250PHP per person). We stayed in a small bungalow and the AC was cold, the bed was ok, a little hard but not bad. Room also had a fan which was nice. Room was clean and so were sheets. A lot of younger backpackers stayed here but there weren’t noisy. Loved that it wasn’t a wet bath even though it was a small bathroom.

I would describe it as a very authentic place that is all about nature, not urban civilisation. Very cosy and beautiful surroundings, a fun, warm, shallow pool. Lots of hammocks and sun loungers, so you can choose where you want to relax. Quiet and peaceful. The nature around the hotel is amazing. We booked a taxi to the airport. There is a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal or a drink. There is a terrace next to the room where you can enjoy your evenings. It's not far to the city, but we traveled by tuk-tuk. We were greeted with a welcome drink, which was nice

We didn't notice that there was no air conditioning, only a fan blowing all the time, which was unpleasant, noisy, and didn't cool the room enough. Sometimes in the morning we could hear our neighbors' roosters crowing, which disturbed our sleep.

Beutifull garden, very friendly, kind and helpfull staff, spaciuos room, very cosy enviroment.

Near main street, so it was quite noisy, but the bigest problen for my sound sensitive wife was rootsters screaming all night long from neighborhood. Hotel had nothing to do with it but wife couldn't sleep, so we had to look for other hotel. However Hotel was frendly and returned money for not used day. If rooms were more sound isolating from suranding this woudn't be an issue. If you are noice sensitive you probably should find other hotel, otherwise this is realy nice place.

Staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and really made the stay amazing. They will help you with all your needs. Food is a bit pricey compared to other local places outside. But if you are going to 'eat out' anyway, price here is fine. Laundry service provided by external laundry facility - who lost my dress belt - such a pity. Location is totally fine for those who don't have little children. Otherwise, it is a ride up and down to town, with the noisy and bumpy tuktuk and can feel inconvenient sometimes. Wifi didn't work in the room, but worked great in the main areas. Swimming pool was very enjoyable, but sometimes slightly dirty. The jacuzzi attached to the pool should be switched on - it is often off, and only comes on for like 2 seconds sporadically. Room size is great. The biggest issue we had was the endless mosquitos somehow making it into the rooms - either a crack in the bathroom windows or sewage, or front door maybe. We tried to keep the doors closed at all times, even the bathroom door - to prevent mosquitos, but they still made their way in - even after we spayed the rooms. The old closet in the rooms creak a lot, and so do the doors. We are always hearing creaking sounds of the doors and closet, and other neighbors' doors as well. Garden - most beautiful, relaxing and spacious. About the superstition of ghosts living in the tree, etc. which some of the staff talked about - just not very tasteful, as we want to enjoy the gardens and not have funny feelings about it. Hammocks in the gardens are great. Thank you to the most incredible staff for the enjoyable stay. We hope to see you guys again.

Toilet flush isn't great. Shower pressure is on the weak side.

This hotel is the oldest hotel in Coron, founded 1991 by a former German engineer. It offers nicely designed rooms and a beautiful garden with flowers and various kind of trees. It also has a reasonably clean swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. The staff - particularly the general manager "Alma" is very friendly and supportive. You can walk to the center of Coron in 10 minutes are take a tricycle for less than 50 pesos.

- our economy room had no aircon and on booking.com you only see this in advance by carefully studying the small print. This fact should be communicated more clearly in order to avoid misunderstandings. - WiFi is only working near the reception desk. - unfortunately the German owner passed away in 2021 and it seems, technical maintenance is partially lacking now. E.g. we had no warm water in the shower, although it was promised.

I enjoyed staying in an authentic Filipino resort, the room had quirks such as painted walls and the area around the pool was full of plants and different statues. It had fantastic character. The staff were friendly, professional and accommodating. Great location. Moreover, the shower had hot water which is hard to come by in the Philippines unless you stay in 4 star + property. Room was spacious and clean. Pool and food was enjoyable. Would recommend.

The garden and pool area at Kokosnuss is absolutely beautiful and a very welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Coron. The resort is decorated with lovely hand painted wall murals. Most of the staff are delightful. We stayed for 2 nights at Kokosnuss and ate every meal at their restaurant. The meals are delicious and have some nice western (German) options.

I really missed not having tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Lovely swimming pool. Quick service (unusual in the Philippines) and good food in the restaurant. Studio room was spacious.

The rooms are tired and in need of a refurb. Actually the whole place, apart from the pool, looks very dated. The studio kitchen consisted of a sink. Nothing else at all. Not even a kettle. The aircon unit was very old and not very effective. Hot water erratic.

Garden was an nice to hang at.

Having to walk up the stairs to get to our room. The pool was under repair (could'nt use it) during our stay. No Refrigerator/microwave or coffee maker in the room. The toilet cover wont stay open, to use commode, one has to hold on to the cover/lid while trying to sit & use it, VERY ANNOYING, POORLY constructed.

STAFF - exceptional! Helpful, courteous, friendly. Large grounds around the pool with lounge chairs. Restaurant had very good food and lots of options. The breakfast banana pancakes were delicious!

Needed a light blanket on the beds, in addition to the sheet to cover with. Hot water took a long time to happen. Need new soap and shampoo when room is cleaned.
